They're shutting down at the end of 2021. The NHL's contract with NBC also ends at the end of this season. They've been working on rights deals with "more than one network" https://www.sportsbusinessdaily.com/SB-Blogs/Breaking-News/2021/01/NBCSN.aspx They want to be on at least two channels. NBC has told them they'll give them blocks on tv but they're also going to be on Peacock.

on NBCSN NHL averaged 300k 3 years ago. Trying to find a newer article. I don't know how many households it was in though?

I wouldn’t read anything into the most recent NHL playoffs having terrible ratings. Literally everything other than the NFL and one of the golf majors tanked this year. There was a huge logjam with everything on at once instead of being spread out on the calendar. I remember one night in September, I watched MLB, NFL, college football, the NBA playoffs, NHL playoffs and a tennis match all in one night just because I could.
As for NBCSN, in final overall ratings for 2020, it was actually the No. 2 sports network behind only ESPN. They beat FS1 and ESPN2. I can only assume that the Olympics getting postponed (and now possibly canceled this year?) has destroyed their budget.

Looks like NXT is going to move to Tuesday (watch out, Impact) or Thursday. Since NXT on USA Network's sole purpose was to fuck over AEW, I feel like Triple H & Vince could lose interest in the show fast once the show moves. Which could be a good thing tbh.

I don’t think Triple H will lose interest. I think it will go back to the more coherent and steady booking they had before the USA move and Vince’s involvement.

RIP Vince’s mysterious brother from Texas Rod. He was supposed to make an on camera appearance at Vince’s “memorial service” that turned into RAW IS GENOA on that fateful day in June 2007.

I feel like this is first time I even saw a picture of him.

If it's true that men inherit a lot of genes from their mother's side, all those predictions about how WWE will be better soon once Vince is gone will look about as foolish as me picking the Golden State Warriors to make the playoffs last year.

Also Vince's mom still somehow inexplicably still being alive really drives home how much he is like Mr. Burns.
