1. Draft a roster of 12 players (you're getting the 90s version of that player. you can specify a year if you'd like. for certain players, you may have to)
2. In order to spice things up, your goal is to build a team that you think could win a title in the 90s. You can do a write up at the end of the draft to help people understand your vision.
3. At the end of the draft, I'll randomize matchups and we'll have a tournament to decide the winner. Each matchup will be decided by votes in separate threads.

Thoughts?

One last thing I had in mind but wasn't sure about is only making players who played a certain amount of years (maybe 3 or 5) in the 90s eligible. When you sign up, respond with your thoughts on that, and we'll come to a consensus.

I'm most definitely in. I went 3, but really I'm fine since Jon Koncak is available either way we do it.

I'm in. I voted doesn't matter but only because you would have to declare the year you select them at the end of the draft.

I’ll do it. I voted 3 years as well.

Seasons are 89-90 to 98-99 I assume?

Also, is this a time slot draft or serpentine?

yep. So I’m thinking that if you played in a year, even if it’s not the full year (so the 89-90 season counts as one), it counts as one year.

Will be a serpentine draft

damn magic johnson isn't eligible either

bah gawd just realized you can change your vote on this new board, do it guys!

Technically, Magic played 3 seasons if you count the partial return season in 95/96.

Dudes who won real awards in the 90s should be allowed to be picked regardless of how long they played in the 90s imo.

I’m going to start another poll because we already decided on 3 years

Two options:

89-90 to 98-99
89-90 to 99-00

technically, if you play in the 99-00 year, and you played 97-98, 98-99, 99-00 would be playing in three different 90s years (even if 97 wasn’t a full year). So up to everyone.

Ok shit I can’t start a new poll, so just post your thoughts

I like the 89-90 to 99-00 version. No real reason though.

89/90 to 98/99, go with the seasons that have the Finals played in the 90s.

I also feel like if you are able to pick one player from one year then all players, regardless of seasons played, should be eligible.

I'm going 89/90 to 99/00

The last two months of 1999 is still 90's so why not and I want VC involved in this too.

It’s 3-2 right now (I’m voting 90-99) tho YPOV and 909 will definitely vote for 00 so 4-3. 5 more votes and I will generate the order.
