My final pick is a 3 point specialist who was a bit more well rounded than people probably remember. AND he won a dunk contest as a white guy.

Brent Barry
I watched this Dunk Contest during one of the Dunk Contest marathons on NBATV 4-5 years back. He not only won as a white guy but he inexplicably wore his warmup shirt the entire time. I remember seeing him as a talking head on some NBATV show talking about the contest and he said it was cause he was self conscious by how scrawny his arms were (hence his "Bones" nickname).

Nevertheless, that had to be the biggest Clippers win of the '90s.

I probably have too many bigs already, but this guy has a unique skill-set that can help me greatly.

Sam Perkins, F/C

He became a great stretch 4/5 later in his career with the Sonics and Pacers, but showed flashes of it previously when he got the Lakers their lone '91 Finals win with a game-winning 3. I also now have three members of those early-80s UNC Tar Heel squads (Jordan, Worthy, Perkins), so maybe that will help with team chemistry.

Alright, so you have until Monday for
write up if you feel it’s necessary (1-3 paragraphs, and a rotation). After the write ups, we are going to start the tournament on Monday.

Teams will be paired by twos. The first two teams will face each other, the next two and so forth. But the last four teams will receive a bye. The team that picked 12th will face the winner of the first match. The team that picked 11th will face the winner of the picks 3 and 4 matchup, and so forth.

Each matchup will get 24 hours for votes. That means I’ll be posting a thread with a new match up every day at 12 PM Eastern. You vote using the poll and you can also post why. You can and should also vote for your own team so we can get that out of the way.

Tomorrow I’m going to post the matchups while everyone works on write ups. Let me know if there are any questions. I’m also going to start a thread where you can post your write up and rotation.

I'm writing specific match-ups that involve next-level strategy, so you better believe I'm gonna hang a banner of Billy Gunn from the rafters to troll my first round opponent.
