Me and Pops Kamala were watching a '08 SNL rerun at camp the other night. I was thinking about how underrated cast in that era was. And that got me to thinking; are there enough comedy nerds here interested to do a Saturday Night Live cast draft. This draft should be on the shorter side. 10 Rounds plus you pick your host alongside your first pick and musical guest with your last pick.

Like it's not just that you can't have Dan Aykroyd from Trading Places because it was made when he wasn't on the show. You can't take Sandler based on his work from Airheads even if it was made while he was on SNL, you only get him based on what he did on the show.

Yeah that makes everything very interesting. You are not getting Chris Rock, one of the best comics ever. You are getting Chris Rock who was kind of awkward in sketches yet still had some great Weekend Update rants. And on and on.

Yeah. I share that sentiment. I think there's a handful of no brainer first rounders but everything is wildly subjective.

I think we should pick the host with the second pick. That way when it comes back serpentine it’ll work better for the people who didn’t get to pick early that they’ll get a better host pick.

I don’t really like host with first pick. People should be able to pick whoever they want. If you wanna wait to pick your host because it doesn’t matter as much, you should. If you really want a host, then take them early. Makes it more open to let people choose, and doesn’t force people’s hands on what kind of show they want.

also if someone takes Ferrell as host, that means he can’t be picked periodright? Would Be weird to have two ferrells in this draft
