Rolling with this DK lineup while trying to follow 909's advice in a 0.25 Cent entry.

Conley, Harden, and James are the STUDS. Isaac, Temple, and Snell are the punts who see solid minutes. Dirk has a good matchup playing Houston & has a decent shot at a Double-Double. He just missed by a board in his last game. And Randolph should give me 20-25, maybe a little more if he plays really well.

PG Mike Conley 43.3 swap out
SG James Harden 51.4 swap out
SF Jonathan Isaac 18.6 swap out
PF LeBron James 55.6 swap out
C Dirk Nowitzki 21.9 swap out
G Garrett Temple 21.9 swap out
F Zach Randolph 26.0 swap out
UTIL Tony Snell 15.8 swap out

Lineup #2 is a Boom/Bust type top end STUDS. Tried to go with more Studs but at slightly cheaper costs e.g. Carmelo at SF for $6,900 instead of Paul George who was $1,000 more.
PG Mike Conley 43.3 swap out
SG Klay Thompson 44.6 swap out
SF Carmelo Anthony 33.3 swap out
PF L. Aldridge 48.0 swap out
C DeAndre Jordan 48.5 swap out
G Terrence Ross 30.0 swap out
F Jae Crowder 23.9 swap out
UTIL J.J. Barea 27.5

That bottom lineup is really good. Barea is a great play tonight. I switched him into Yogi Farrell's spot.

I normally try to go a few studs and a few cheap injury substitutions. The problem with that, though, is you might get guys who are "starting" because of injuries, but they wind up only playing 10 minutes anyway.

My lineup that I'm running tonight on Fanduel:

PG: Mike Conley Damian Lillard
PG: Eric Bledsoe JJ Barea
SG: CJ McCollum James Harden
SG: Klay Thompson Terrence Ross
SF: Thabo Sefolosha
SF: Joe Ingles
PF: Kelly Olynyk
PF: Giannis Antetokounmpo
C: Jonas Valanciunas

I don't really feel great about it, cause I'm putting too much into Giannis, but as long as he stays worth it, I'm gonna try to fit him into a roster.

Edit: Screw it, I went into full fuck it mode and just tried to fit huge salaries into it.

When I chose Kay Felder, I was choosing between him and DJ Augustin. I should have played both lineups. I won some but could have won so much more.

PG James Harden 47.75 lock
SG J.J. Barea 29.75 lock
SF Wilson Chandler 28 lock
PF K. Porzingis 46.75 lock
C Kelly Olynyk 36.75 lock
G Victor Oladipo 51.5 lock
F L. Aldridge 52 lock
UTIL Kay Felder 8.75

TOTAL FANTASY POINTS: 301.25

With Augustin:

UTIL D.J. Augustin 36.5

TOTAL FANTASY POINTS: 329

In the 4 point play that's good for $50.00. FUCK MY SHIT UP DUDE.

I got hammered with 199.5 and 199 points. Conley, Klay, and DeAndre all disappointed with 20-23 points. The only "punt" that paid off was Tony Snell (23.50) and Dirk can fuck off with his 9.75 against a team that he should've guaranteed a double-double against.

With that said, Zach Randolph Status = 2.1% and 25.75. Dude's the perfect 'mid tier punt' selection virtually guaranteeing low ownership and 25 points.

I entered a RotoQL lineup in a $4 FanDuel Entry and won $9 though with a score of 316.3. My lineup: Barea, Yogi, Harden, McCollum, Josh Jackson, TJ Warren (sucked), Kelly Olynyk, Giannis (MONSTER 66.6), and Kevin Love.

Rolling with this RotoQL in a FanDuel $1 Single Entry (Projected 304.60 FP): Dennis Smith Jr, John Wall, Jeremy Lamb, Gary Harris, Kelly Oubre Jr, Josh Jackson, Ben Simmons, James Johnson, and Andre Drummond.

Also went with this as a FanDuel $20K $2 Entry DvP Experiment Entry: De'Aaron Fox (30th), Kemba Walker (13th), Bradley Beal (26th), Jeremy Lamb (27th), Harrison Barnes (29th), Josh Richardson (24th), Otto Porter Jr (24th), Zach Randolph (25th), and Joel Embiid (26th)

In the FanDuel $400K $4 Entry I utilized RotoQL while targeting more scorers and went with this lineup (Projected 271.30 FP): Stephen Curry, Dejounte Murray, Eric Gordon, Buddy Hield, Tobias Harris, Harrison Barnes, LaMarcus Aldridge, James Johnson, and Marcin Gortat.

Ended up not cashing in any despite scoring 281 and 288.6 (twice) with the 3 lineups. Zach Randolph had one of his worst games of his career, which killed an otherwise deadly lineup. I had 4 guys score at least 39 and Beal hit 30. If I had anybody but Randolph, I probably would've cashed easily.

Same deal with my $4 Entry in which I missed cashing by 4 points as Tobias Harris sunk it with just 14.8 while I had 4 players hit at least 37.8 and Hield hit 30.4. The $1 Entry I missed cashing by just 3 points thanks to Gary Harris' 16. John Wall, Ben Simmons, and Drummond all hit at least 45 though.

Interestingly, of the 3 lineups my DvP experiment was arguably the strongest and I would've cashed if I even got just 15 out of Randolph rather than his usual 20-25.

Won $2.50 since it was just a Single Entry $1 one. Scored 319.50 with LeBron dropping 64.5 and Gordon topping 40. Finished at 2,255 out of 29,761.

My biggest gets were Barea - 2.8% and scored 29 & Dwight Howard - 6.8% and scored 36.8. Delon Wright was 0.9% owned and gave me a very solid 17.2 as a pure punt play.

Bah gawd... rolling with these 2 lineups in the $4 $450K Contest DK.

Lineup 1: Wanted to take advantage of Jordan's beastly rebounding (see Dwight Howard last night paying off) & Griffin/Horford's all-around games. Bazemore's been getting hot and Barnes can score. Fox/Grant are mainly guys who can potentially get me 6+ Assists. Assists are worth 1.25 and a do-able 12 Points/7 Assists type night can give me 20.75 alone from the G spots.
PG De'Aaron Fox 30.0 swap out
SG Jerian Grant 28.7 swap out
SF Kent Bazemore 24.6 swap out
PF Harrison Barnes 27.7 swap out
C DeAndre Jordan 37.1 swap out
G J.J. Barea 28.5 swap out
F Blake Griffin 48.9 swap out
UTIL Al Horford 34.3 swap out

Lineup 2: This is all balanced around Giannis and Cousins. The other options are capable of 20+ points and guys like John Collins/Ed Davis are capable of Double-Doubles. This is largely about the 1.5 Rebounding. Just an 8 Rebound night + nothing else can get you 12 Points so I'm fine with banking on Collins/Davis going for at least an 8-8 type night, hopefully.
PG J.J. Barea 28.5 swap out
SG Yogi Ferrell 23.6 swap out
SF Tyreke Evans 21.6 swap out
PF Ed Davis 22.8 swap out
C John Collins 26.2 swap out
G G. Antetokounmpo 63.6 swap out
F DeMarcus Cousins 61.0 swap out
UTIL Wesley Matthews 24.5 swap out

Zipser isn't gonna play so I have to make changes. FUCK

Kay Felder in place of Zipser and Kent Bazemore in for George Hill. Tilting the lineup even more in the direction of hit or miss.

Plus one for balanced lineup construction because Nurkic and Gallinari haven't done enough for me to cash. Lillard less than expected too. The Felder punt was a small problem but not the big problem.

edit: wound up barely cashing.

Lineup 1 scored 274 and just missed cashing by 5 points (Jordan was 6.6% owned and dropped 37 FP including 18 Rebounds). Lineup 2 scored 264 with Ed Davis performing poorly at just 13 FP. Giannis hit 60 and Cousins hit 83.75 but was 53% owned in one of the more obvious Chalks I've seen in a while.

After barely cashing again I decided it's time to do two lineups tonight.

PG R. Westbrook 56.8 swap out
SG Bradley Beal 40.9 swap out
SF Kent Bazemore 26.5 swap out
PF Enes Kanter 32.2 swap out
C Nikola Vucevic 46.7 swap out
G Jamal Murray 18.3 swap out
F Pascal Siakam 14.2 swap out
UTIL Brandon Ingram 27.9

PG Stephen Curry 46.8 swap out
SG Jamal Murray 18.3 swap out
SF DeMar DeRozan 39.0 swap out
PF Paul Millsap 25.0 swap out
C Mike Muscala 18.5 swap out
G Lonzo Ball 38.8 swap out
F Terrence Ross 18.9 swap out
UTIL Kemba Walker 35.5

Both are too different so only one will cash. I will have to change the Siakam lineup if Nogueira plays. I just can't get away from the punts!

edit: Siakam and Ingram out. Jarrett Jack and Rondae Hollis Jefferson in. Loading UP on that Brooklyn game.

And now Schroder is playing so throw these all in the garbage can.

Rolling with these 2 lineups.

Lineup 1 - $5 Entry: Balanced Lineup - Tweaked it to try and get a stronger, more balanced up and down lineup.
PG Jrue Holiday 30.5 swap out
SG Dennis Smith Jr. 29.2 swap out
SF Harrison Barnes 29.5 swap out
PF Al Horford 36.7 swap out
C DeAndre Jordan 37.1 swap out
G Evan Turner 24.6 swap out
F Kyle Kuzma 24.0 swap out
UTIL Eric Gordon 34.8 swap out

Lineup 2 - $1 Entry - Tried to opt for some options who may be lower owned e.g. Rubio, Jameer Nelson, and Redick.
PG Ricky Rubio 35.6 swap out
SG Dennis Smith Jr. 29.2 swap out
SF Carmelo Anthony 37.1 swap out
PF Joel Embiid 39.9 swap out
C DeAndre Jordan 37.1 swap out
G Jameer Nelson 22.1 swap out
F J.J. Redick 23.5 swap out EDIT: Redick is questionable so I swapped in Joe Ingles
UTIL Tyson Chandler 22.4 swap out

Lineup 3 - $4 Entry: Studs & High Risk Punts I'm banking on Ed Davis not shooting 0-7 again and J.R. Smith finding his shot. Ish Smith is capable of a cheap 20 FP if he has a hot game.
PG Damian Lillard 40.8 swap out
SG Jaylen Brown 29.5 swap out
SF Evan Turner 24.6 swap out
PF LeBron James 56.0 swap out
C DeAndre Jordan 37.1 swap out
G J.R. Smith 12.8 swap out
F Ed Davis 20.9 swap out

Rolling with this lineup in NFL and this in NBA. I think RIVAS has a chance to absolutely torch the Patriots yardage wise though, he'd be a great pick too.

NFL Lineup
QB Kirk Cousins 22.6 swap out
RB C. McCaffrey 14.6 swap out
RB Chris Thompson 19.3 swap out
WR Nelson Agholor 12.9 swap out
WR Michael Crabtree 16.1 swap out
WR Julio Jones 14.9 swap out
TE Jimmy Graham 9.8 swap out
FLEX Jason Witten 12.7 swap out
DST Patriots 5.0

NBA Lineup Opted to go for more top end STUDS (Steph, Otto, Love, Drummond) along with general BIGS in Plumlee and Gortat for the Double-Double/Boards potential.
PG Reggie Jackson 31.9 swap out
SG Stephen Curry 46.1 swap out
SF Otto Porter 41.3 swap out
PF Kevin Love 37.5 swap out
C Andre Drummond 40.3 swap out
G Frank Ntilikina 10.5 swap out
F Mason Plumlee 18.3 swap out
UTIL Marcin Gortat 31.7

FanDuel's copy/paste completely sucks butt. Cashed nicely with this.

S36AWrW.png

Two things are bothering me a lot though.

One is that I removed Brandin Cooks for AJ Green last night and he sucked a big one. Second is that I chose Boswell over Vinatieri. I can't bring myself to count exactly how much I didn't make because of that but I know it's at least $50 more. But I did remove Tyreek Hill and Greg Olsen for Julio and Walker like five minutes before kickoff so I can't complain that much.

Last week a lineup with that point total makes $1,500.

For some reason I can't get over 339 points even though I keep cashing. It's getting frustrating. Lineup construction is on point though.

Tonight I had Schroder, Lonzo Ball, Harden, Burks, Kidd-Gilchrist, Nwaba, Aminu, Randle, and Vucevic. That was good for 335.70. Honestly I don't know what else I could have done and considering I nearly picked Kevin Love when he turned out to not even play I shouldn't complain.

Managed to win $0.20 in a $0.10 despite having Alec Burks out. 909, more so, and I have figured out the rather obvious play that actual NBA points matters the most in Draft Kings (how shocking).

My lineup was: Harden - 45 Points (87.5), Tyler Herro - 30 Points (45.5), Porter Jr. - 11 Points (23.75), Darius Bazley - 21 Points (44.25), Bol Bol - 7 Points (11.8), Burks - 0, Kawhi - 26 Points (40.75), and Doug McDermott - 16 Points (29.5). Total Score was 283.25

I'm looking forward to the playoffs. Rolling with raw points literally every day. Chasing the double double bonus and rebound bullshit is something proven to me to be idiotic. It's literally entirely up to chance whether or not a random mid level player will get rebounds and assists. But if the mid level player averages 20 PPG, at least you know you're gonna get that and a bit of random shit to go with it.

Before I started doing that I would regularly finish in the last 2000 of any big 20k+ contest. Now I am either cashing or close to it every night. It feels like a matter of time before I have another big breakthrough like I did that one year when Brees was throwing all kinds of bullshit completions to Kamara.

It just makes sense from a DK scoring standpoint as well if you use a basic barometer. Just going by a 'good' statline below, why would you ever not chase the guy who can score at least 20 points? The guy who scores 10 points with 8 rebounds gets you the exact same 20 points with a Double-Double only being worth 1.5 points.

1 Point = PPG. So 20 Points is 20 Points in DK.
1.25 Rebound = RPG. So 8 Rebounds is 10 Points in DK.
1.50 Assist = APG. So 6 Assists is 9 Points in DK.
2 Steal/Block = 2 Steals + 1 Block is 6 Points in DK.

Rolling with this DK Lineup in a free tourney (Mon/Tue)... Targeted scorers with a couple top tier scorers who can have huge games.

DAME (Portland), Joe Harris (Brooklyn), Duncan Robinson (Miami), Carmelo (Portland), Bazley (Oklahoma City), LUKA (Dallas), Terrence Ross (Orlando), and Herro (Miami).

Harris has hit nearly 20 points in 4/6 restart games. Duncan can score 20+ if he sees enough minutes. Carmelo can score 20 and I think may have a chip to try & go off for 30+. Bazley had an off night last game but can score 20+ in a game. LUKA I think will go off and score a ton. Ross was cheap and capable of a 20+ night. Herro's streaky but capable of going off for 25+.
