I'm enjoying UConn getting slapped around in the 2nd half here since I hate Calhoun. If UNC loses that would be great because I'd be fine with MSU or 'Nova taking the title.

I don't know if I'd consider MSU over UConn a major upset. MSU was on the verge of being the forth 1 seed anyway. They ended the season ranked 5th I think.

I've mentioned this before but keep in mind that UNC beat Michigan St. by 35 (THIRTY FIVE) at Ford Field already this season.
This is somewhat of a bad scenario because it's already over in my head and that typically can only end in heartbreak.

MSU's run shouldn't be a surprise. The problem is that many of the idiots in Sports Media declared MSU and the Big Ten essentially a dead/overrated conference. People mistake a defense-first conference's low scores for bad play too often. It helps that they have arguably the best coach in the game today with Izzo. No one does as much with his players as Izzo consistently does.
Awesome that MSU took UConn out. If beat UNC I'd be thrilled, but I don't see it happening.

Izzo has the perfect recruiting tool. EVERY player that's come to MSU and put in 4 years under him has made a final 4. I've never seen a couch get so much out of what he has to work with, not saying it's a bad team by any means. The guy just gets more out of the team that he puts on the floor than you think he should. And I like that he tries to keep most of his recruiting in state

Erik Kuselias pointed it out on 1st and 10 on Friday: Izzo has only been upset once in the tournament, and that was by George Mason. After that, he's either played up to his ranking or above it. That's pretty damn amazing.

Part of me wants Michigan State to DO IT FOR THE CONFERENCE~, but I picked UNC to win it all in my brackets, so part of me wants them to win, as well.
They're usually right about the Big Ten sucking, though.
I don't care who wins. Michigan State will bring joy to the state of Michigan. North Carolina will bring joy to dull-eyed white guys across America. Neither will bring joy to me. Who cares? It's time for baseball and the Stanley Cup. The real stuff!
