Now I want to hear Booker T sing "A Man Called Sting" like he sang "Sexy Boy" back in the '00s.

Yes. I know Booker dressed up as a different era of Sting than when Stinger used that theme but please let me have my fantasy of Booker T singing "A Man Called Sting".

Lot of Matches You Didn't Know Existed happening in the Spring of '93 in WWF.

Both these tandems seem random. I love Macho Man saying that Kamala is a great guy cause now I'm imagining the two of them hanging out at a bar in their kayfabe outfits.

Hughes and DiBiase together just seems so right. He should have been the Virgil replacement instead of Sherri

Matches/color commentators you didn't know existed.

Man, '93 WWF was weird. 3rd match in a row from it ITT

I have a tape of Summer WWF from 1993 my mom taped for me as a kid that I used to watch, and I was completely confused by The Wizard. Just seemed so random and then he was gone pretty fast. Still five million times better than Rob Bartlett.

I was always mad they never panned to the booth to show the "Wizard." I was aware of the manager, but didn't think it was him.

That could've been an excellent comedy team for a little while. Just the notion of Backlund mentoring the New Rockers by itself sounds funny.

I am chuckling IRL at Mr. Backlund trying to get a hungover Marty Jannetty to do the Harvard Step Test.

I had no idea Bob Backlund was around after the '96 Royal Rumble but before he came back as Sultan's manager. Looking at Cawthon's, his last match was the infamous May 19th, 1996 MSG show. How cool would it've been if Mr. Backlund joined the Clique Curtain Call?

Crazy Bob running out and interrupting the curtain call like he's saving HHH from a run in would have saved kayfabe.

Did anyone ever wonder what it would be like if Nailz was a gimmick during the territory days? No? Well here he is against 1996 Wahoo

I can't believe Iron Mike Sharpe was still doing jobs all the way to 1995. Seeing him wrestle Man Mountain Rock with a striped shirt referee feels so anachronistic to me.

Promos I didn't know existed. I had no idea Hulk cut so many promos from the set of Thunder of Paradise during his fifth WWF World Title run.

I rewatched the RAWs from this era when they were uploaded to the Network and I don't remember Hogan showing up at all between WrestleMania IX and King of the Ring '93, even in pretaped form.

I didn't know Dutch actually wrestled in the WWF.

Three matches is also a pretty healthy percentage of Smothers' entire WWE run.

I want to know where in Appalachia that '96 Superstars taping was cause that crowd seemed inexplicably into Freddie Joe Floyd Vs Uncle Zeb

I checked Cawthon's and it was Yakima, Washington which isn't Appalachia at all. I guess crowds were more excitable in '96.

Smothers was around for quite a while. His partner Steve had a true cup of coffee run in late 1992.

I seem to recall from my RAW rewatches 5 or 6 years ago that Smothers worked Foley on RAW twice, several months apart. I assumed Foley knew Tracy from WCW/SMW and knew Smothers would make him look good.

Just tuned into the Impact Wrestling Pluto channel and they're showing The Dudley Boyz Team 3D Vs The Steiner Brothers from Bound for Glory 2007.

It'd be more appropriate if we had an "Oh yeah...this match happened!" thread.

Seeing Motor City Machine Guns help a pudgy windplants clad Rick Steiner beat The Dudleys Team 3D is a surreal sight. ONE GREAT MICHIGAN TAG TEAM HELPS ANOTHER.

If you think that's weird. At Slammiversary 2007 it was supposed to be Team 3D vs The Steiners and Scott got hurt. So it was Team 3D vs RICK STEINER AND ROAD WARRIOR ANIMAL.
