Disney just announced some delays of properties they acquired from Fox. The Kingsmen prequel The King’s Man has been pushed back from March to November. There is also a Bob’s Burgers movie that was slated for an April theatrical release. This film has now been removed from the release calendar entirely. No word if it will be rescheduled later.

They can't release these movies to VOD because they don't make any money whatsoever. Despite that bullshit press release Universal sent out when they sent Trolls World Tour to VOD, it didn't make dick. As a result my BIL left the film industry before they were going to make cuts. At least it should only be a few more months of this shit because in addition to other things I really can't take this shit anymore. I can't believe how much this country sucks.

I mean, no one asked for a Top Gun sequel but it getting a three-year delay really sucks for the people involved.

I wonder if the news about Shang-Chi being expected to break the box office record for opening will deter any other release delays? Obviously that is dependent on us all dying from COVID in the next three months.
