Exceptionally famous people can't do podcasts. If they say anything that isn't completely trite and trivial it'll show up as clickbait under every news article you read for the next six months.

Rogan as well.

But they aren't a Beatle. That kind of cache really limits you. He's so uncontroversial that nothing of note will be said. Douchebag topped out when he revealed the story of the first incarnation of the band all jerking off together a couple years ago.

In my mind, Marc Maron is one of the most famous people on the planet.
Incidentally though, some people think WTF has gotten worse as he has become more famous.

Joe Rogan’s podcast has DEFINITELY gotten worse since he has become more famous.

Just be glad I didn’t start a thread for the McCartney podcast. If he has an episode for anything on McCartney II, I will listen.

Yeah I'd actually listen to an apology and justification for "Temporary Secretary."

WTF is pretty much the only podcast I listen to consistently these days and I've been listening for over a decade. Saw Marc live in 2015 and it rocked.

It hasn't been the same since Obama but I think it's still fine.

The only positive thing with McCartney doing one is that he used to be pretty fun on Stern way back. The problem is this is going to be peak fake annoying asshole McCartney, not the guy talking about groupies or his one legged ex.

909’s boomer and relatives took “Back Off Boogaloo” too literally, I guess.

Edit- https://amp.tmz.com/2023/09/21/ringo-starr-beatles-falls-onstage-new-mexico/
Damn Ringo hasn’t had this bad of a week since the reviews for Caveman came in. Got to pay your dues if you want to sing the blues and you know it don’t come easy.

He needs to stop. Only work like four shows a year with a super stacked band in a smaller venue, like casinos and fairs and shit, but ask top dollar. Then put in cameos on literally every show or record he's asked to drum a song on.

Probably my favorite song of The Beatles is A Day In The Life... really love Ringo's drumming and Lennon's rather haunting vocals.

No Beatle needs to be grinding it out like the Foreigners and REO Speedwagons of the world. Even Ringo!

I mean the only other profitable potential gig is if he worked some shows for the Stones, which would be great since he and Charlie Watt were basically the same.

He's out of Beatles shit and Let It Be is going to be on Disney+. Makes sense to fart out some Wings leftovers and try to make it seem like it's going to be worth anything.
