The saddest title defence in history comes to a pathetic end. Well done Hawk, was basically a bye week for you.

You had about the worst luck this season OG. You scored the 5th highest total points for, but had the 2nd highest total points against.

I went from averaging roughly 195 points a game through the first five weeks all the way down to about 139 the rest of the way (including the playoff game). I'm gonna have a hard time determining keepers.

It's championship week! I think Steak has the edge in the title game, but both teams can score a lot of points. In the Trevor Lawrence Bowl, it's anyone's game. If BZ wins, the trade market could get really interesting. Does he trade the pick, does he trade Deshaun or Lamar? If Hawk wins, he ends up with Burrow & Lawrence potentially to build around.

5th out of 14 ain't bad I guess, and I've got probably one more year of Rodgers/Stafford being a highly productive QB duo. I might have to go all in next year before a rebuild period.

The Championship matchup still in progress. Steak needs about 45 pts from Henry & 2 IDPs to win.

The Trevor Lawrence Bowl has been decided. Hawk will be the proud owner of that 1st overall pick.

First time winning this league for me. I'm not gonna lie, I'm pretty surprised to have won this. Mitchell Trubisky led my team in scoring in the title game. Mitchell Trubisky. Wow. At least he has finally done something useful in his NFL career.

Feel free to start posting keepers. I'll say rough deadline will be the Sunday night after the 2021 NFL Draft. Whenever that is. I'll start the new league thread that weekend.

For those that are new or don't remember, you can keep up to 6 players. If you keep less than 6 players, you will receive a compensatory pick in the compensatory round. The compensatory round takes place AFTER the first round of the draft.

Little late on this, but congrats to my bitter rival Krankor on taking home the chip this season. We will battle again next season I'm sure.

I'm still figuring out my keepers, I'll post them later on.

Tentative 2021 Keepers:

RB Derrick Henry
WR Tyreek Hill
WR DeAndre Hopkins
QB Tom Brady
QB Jalen Hurts
QB Dak Prescott

Not crazy about keeping 3 QBs, but given this scenario I probably should in case Dak doesn't make it back or isn't the same.

I will also make Carson Wentz available for trade, assuming he lands on a new team this offseason.

I'm going to set the keeper deadline for June 1st. We'll probably draft somewhere in the neighborhood of August 1st. I'll lock in the draft date further on.

Just need keepers still from @909 @MFer @Kageho

The team run by tman12 that he took over mid-season is going to be made available since he has vanished from NBA & Baseball. So if you're interested in joining, now is the time to snatch up that team.

-------------

Also, over the years we have gone down to 14 teams. I kind of like the league size. With that comes a question...

Tight End, what should we do with it?

Before when we were at 20 teams and the NFL wasn't a TE heavy league it would have been nearly impossible to field 20 viable options. Now that we are down to 14 teams and the NFL has increased the usage of TE, should we add a TE position and remove TE from the WR/TE slots that we currently use? Maybe 2 WR slots, 1 TE slot, and 1 WR/TE slot. This would drastically increase the value of elite TEs in our league which currently are looked at as at best a WR/TE2 or WR/TE3. This would also put a strain on the WR pool. Maybe we just want 2 WR slots.

If we did want to go back to a more traditional TE position, I think for this season I would add the option to teams to add 1 TE to their keepers if they want to. A limit for this season of keeping only one TE per team. Finally any team without a TE or not keeping a TE would be entered in a TE draft of any non-kept TE's veteran or rookie.

I haven't even looked yet to see if and who might have TE's kept or on their rosters. That'll me a task for a later date. Right now I'm just trying to gauge interest in the idea.

What are your thoughts?

I like the concept of splitting the TE off. By my count, last year saw 24 TEs with at least 400 yards receiving.

Now that I'm a bit better, I'll chime in. I think 2WR, 1TE, 1WR/TE. This way, you still need to think about either position for depth, because you still have a 3rd slot to fill. For someone like Kotz, he'll be able to use both his TEs and maximize the potential.

Keepers:
QB Josh Allen
QB Kyler Murray
WR DJ Chark
WR Mike Evans
WR Michael Thomas
RB Josh Jacobs
