If possible, something that has to be changed for next year is the ability to immediately add a guy to your roster with no buffer period. I cannot count how many times a guy has been questionable at the last minute, missed a game, and the free agent I picked up had to sit a day because I couldn't insert him into the lineup. Of course next time my main roster guy is questionable, he actually plays but I can't start him because I still have the extra roster spot being used by the replacement, whose drop won't go into effect until the next day. Very frustrating. This is excluding the free agency waiver period, of course. That should stay.

That would be a "Daily -Today" format.

That format has benefits and negatives. We've used it in baseball before and the main problem with it is, as soon as a Free Agent's daily game starts he can't be added to any roster until the yahoo date changes at 3 am EST. Another negative, if you are trying to Drop a player, if his NBA team's daily has started, he is stuck on your roster until the following day.

It basically limits free agent movement down to 3 am EST until Tipoff.

The IL+ slots help more in a Daily - Today format. I personally really hate Daily - Today formats because I make most of my roster moves either during the time games are being played or evenings. It's annoying to want to make a move for a free agent, can't because games are locked, then to get snaked on picking him up the next day because someone grabbed him at like 4 am.

With the NBA anymore I just take GTD status with a grain of salt. If the guy is going to play great. If he sits, oh well.

I'm not really opposed to "Daily - Today" format if that's what people want.

My team has been trash all year due to certain players inability to ever play games so I've really just been setting my rosters once a week and juat waiting for the season to be over.

My opinion on daily is that if someone wants to wake up at 3AM and grab a guy out of free agency based on one game's performance, more power to him. More often than not, I'm picking up a guy based on a series of good performances, so I can basically grab him whenever, like I do in the current setup. The annoying part is not being able to plug and play if I have a GTD that can't play.

Sure yahoo has determined #1 Montana vs #2 ChrisV will square off for the virtual trophy based on regular season matchup results. That's fine.

You know I like a good gimmick to keep fantasy sports fresh.

To determine the UNDISPUTED 2021-22 champion for our board history we'll have the first ever Four-way last team standing championship matchup.

#1 MontanaToRice vs #2 ChrisV vs #3 Steak vs #4 MFer

We'll use a modified roto scoring system between the 4.

1st in a category = 5 pts
2nd in a category = 3 pts
3rd in a caregory = 2 pts
4th in a category = 0 pts

Champion will be the team with the highest total roto points at the end of the week.

In the event there's some how a tie, here is the tiebreakers we'll use.

1. If 2 teams are tied in roto points at the end of the week, we'll comparing the two teams championship week stats in a Head 2 Head style matchup.

2. If still tied, we will compare the two team's TOTAL overall season stats in each category in a Head 2 Head style matchup. Image for this can be found below.

3. If still tied, we will compare the two teams win-loss record vs each other during the regular season.

4. If still tied, best overall total regular season win-loss record will win.
