I got Horizon Zero Dawn from Best Buy for $31.99 (w/GCU) this morning but it looks like it's back to full price. I also ordered the Nathan Drake Collection for $11.99 (w/GCU).
If you've just gotten a PS4 like me and want some cheap games, they also have stuff like Bloodborne, the God of War III Remaster and The Last of Us Remastered for $14.99 ($11.99 w/GCU). I'm finally putting this service to good use.
If you have PSVR, Farpoint (which apparently is pretty good) is $39.99 ($31.99 w/GCU)
Right now GameStop is offering a 60% trade in bonus when you trade in 6 or more games. 70% if you have the $15 power up membership. I ended up getting like $42 trade in for horizon and $47 for a link between worlds on the 3ds with this bonus. This offer goes until the 9th. It was essentially free getting the membership upgrade with the trade bonus.
Ended up with a $200 gift card. Got persona 5. May find some more stuff to take on and hold back on the trade in card to see if I can get a switch clean and clear.
I just bought that Middle Earth game in a PSN sale for $4. I've never been a huge fan of RJ Token's Ringlords™ but I remember seeing the commercials a few years ago and thinking it looked cool. Hope it's good!
Xbox Black Friday sales have started for Gold members. ($1 for a month of Gold if you're not a current member.) Wolfenstein II and The Evil Within 2 are already 50% off. Need for Speed Payback came out last week, and is 40% off—though it might be terrible.
Haven't been keeping an eye out on much of what's gonna be on sale in the next week but did see Gamestop will have the new Middle Earth and Wolfenstein games for $25 and Injustice 2 for $14, will prob grab Wolf and Injustice, was considering ME but if it's anything like the previous one it'll be down to next to nothing in like 6 months.
