There are so many typos itt I would normally joke about but I can’t because I know it’s because you guys are as shocked as I am. I wasn’t even a big fan but the guy was an example of putting in the work and getting the fucking most you could out of what you had in this world. I’m not talking about sports, I just mean as an inspiration to anyone who wants to succeed at anything. I guess I am a big fan of that.
As a person entering his golden years, what a fucking tragedy. with the means and intentions he had of doing good in this world, this loss will affect more than people realize. I feel so bad for his wife and especially his kids, robbed of a father. I hope his family can recover from this.
So many pieces of shit out there that could have died and instead we lose KOBE?!
He is exactly who kept me into basketball after MJ started his retirement tour. Him and MJ in that all star game was a bigger highlight to me than Pedro facing off against McGwire and Sosa in the MLB version. I know endorsements are irrelevant at a time like this, but Kobe as a spokesman for sprite had me drinking the shit out of that beverage.
Even in the tail end of his career I still saw him as that fresh young player. Fucking shittiest of shit news to wake up to.
