Lou Brock passes away at 81

No word on cause of death, but he had a number of health issues in his later years.

Keith Hernandez has always said Brock was so helpful to him when he was called up to the Cardinals in ( I believe) 1974. A true mentor to him. A class act.

RIP to a fantastic base stealer. People also forget he had some decent pop being able to hit 35-40 2B and 13-16 HR in a given year. In 1967 he was actually 2nd on the team with 21 HR behind Cepeda's 25.
