Reby shitting on Jeff

Not posting link - I got it elsewhere but got some pop ups. Main quote

If you want to keep up with accurate news on what is going on with The Hardys then you should probably follow Reby Hardy on Twitter and Instagram.

Apparently, there has been some misinformation spread online about the upcoming Ultimate Deletion that will air this Monday Night on Raw. Many fans have speculated on how much involvement Jeff Hardy will have after he was busted for DWI over the weekend.

In response to a fan on Instagram that suggested that Jeff was “needed” for Ultimate Deletion, Reby said the following: “Matt has busted his ass to get to this point. He & I have been fighting for this to happen for nearly a year. After the hard work & $50k+ in legal fees that *WE* paid, I’m gonna have to say NO. He is not “needed”. Jeff is clearly doing his own thing & it has nothing to do with us right now.”

I feel like WWE is going to take all the fun out of this like they usually do by keying on a few things that make Vince laugh in this and then harping on them over and over again.

I really hope that the Lake of Reincarnation gives us a Husky Harris appearance. ;)

I still have zero desire for this gimmick or this video. I know that is a grossly unpopular opinion but I find it silly and on the level of Hornswaggle running through a cartoon tunnel on the wall and Carlito not being able to.

Post below about how horrible of a person I am.

everyone got different taste. Wrestling is a big top, something different for everyone. Not like this is some kind of HiveMind.

I liked the gimmick better when it felt like it had less self-awareness.

Should've saved the Deletion for Mania, though. Bray's got a reputation to uphold.

I think it is quite popular with wrestling fans everywhere, not just restricted to this board. The gimmick is obviously over with the crowds. Just me in the minority.

I've said that myself. I am not overly hyped on this but still curious. I thought TNA's version was entertaining at first but felt it got massively overrated as it went on. I also was in the camp that did not expect a large segment of the audience to be familiar with it based on how few people even knew what was going on with TNA but I was proven to be wrong.

I'm kinda glad we are at the point it is here because my biggest question is if WWE allows Matt the freedom he had if TNA or how much the WWE filters plays into the final presentation for better or worse.

Brocklock turned out to not like it either.

Personally I like things that are as goofy as they get and therefore I love this kind of stuff without exception.

- The match was a big hit on social media. Not only did the match generate hundreds of thousands of tweets but #UltimateDeletion was trending worldwide for several hours after RAW ended.

- Michael Hayes was listed as the match's producer.

- The match was cut from the Hulu version of RAW.

- Even though the match isn't available on Hulu, WWE made the match available in different segments on YouTube.

- Prior to the match, Michael Cole gave a disclaimer by stating, "I'm sorry for what you are about to watch." It's believed this was done since WWE knew there might be some negative feedback to the match. Matt Hardy responded to Cole's comment with the following:

Cole being DELETED? We can only hope.

They broke the segment up into a bunch of videos on their YouTube, and collectively they have about 2.3 million views. I'd say it was a success.

Maybe we're getting lucky and Cole is retiring.

My bored ass finds the first page of this thread great.

What a comeback story. I knew he'd come.

Matt Hardy will be taking time off to deal with various injuries, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. Hardy is expected to be out for a while. The report states, “a decision will be made as far as whether he can return and in what type of a schedule or capacity.”

The triple threat match on Monday’s Raw with The B Team vs. Hardy & Wyatt vs. The Revival was the beginning of the end of the Matt Hardy & Bray Wyatt tag team. Over the weekend, Matt Hardy tweeted farewell to Wyatt.

For the past several weeks, there have been reports that Matt Hardy is dealing with injuries. On Twitter, he has been posting retrospective photos from throughout his career. The general tone seems like Hardy is saying goodbye.

On August 1st, he wrote a message that had some fans wondering if he was retiring. “To all that supported me in the independents & OMEGA.. To the fans of Team Xtreme.. To the Mattitude Followers.. To the OUTSPOKEN fans who brought me back in 2005.. To the people who backed me when I was REINCARNATED in pro wrestling.. To the #WOKEN Warriors.. THANK YOU.”

The Wrestling Observer notes that Hardy has been “shadowing” producers backstage. This is being viewed as a possible role for Matt Hardy when his in-ring career winds down.

The next line in the Observer states that Jason Jordan is also doing the same, sounds like he may be done too. Damn shame, so young and wasted on the main roster.

They really fucked Jason Jordan over with that storyline about being Kurt's son. It was just awful.

As for Matt Hardy. Sounds like both he and Jeff came back for their last payday and to set up a post wrestling career. I think they've both earned some R&R careerwise at this point.

I think the Hardy Boys *might* be the last active connection to my late high school early college wrestling conversations with my friends. The last two I can reference to lapsed fans as, "man they're still going at it and entertaining as when we were 17."

All the rest are part timing it so much, except maybe my beloved Jericho. He still comes around to cradle my fandom in his chiseled bosom.

That last part was to amuse myself since this has me unreasonably bummed considering, as already noted, he's earned the rest.
