Cincinnati is expected to overhaul some of their position coaches including RB, OL, and DL with Singleton (RB) going back to college to serve as an assistant coach.

Chargers and Jaguars are expected to fire Lynn and Marrone soon.

End of an era as John Elway is stepping down as Broncos GM but will stay on as President of Football Operations.

They should have let him be their quarterback about a month ago.

Chan Gailey's resigned as OC in Miami. So Flores will be looking for his 3rd OC in as many years now.

I'd rather take Lawrence and his rookie deal than Deshaun and his massive contract.

A lot of teams are adding players via futures contracts. These basically give the players an early crack at the 90 Man Roster and do not count towards the Salary Cap. They usually are Practice Squad players but other teams cannot sign them once they are signed to a Futures Contract so teams can sometimes poach PS players and sign them to a Futures contract. Here are names that popped for me.

Arizona: WR JoJo Ward, K Brett Maher
Carolina: WR Amara Darboh
Cincinnati: QB Kyle Shurmur, RB Jacques Patrick
Dallas: CB Saivion Smith
Denver: WR Kendall Hinton, TE Jordan Leggett
Detroit: WR Victor Bolden
Indianapolis: WR Gary Jennings, CB Nick Nelson
Jacksonville: DT Gabe Wright
Miami: WR Kirk Merritt, DE Nick Coe
Minnesota: QB Jake Browning, QB Nate Stanley, CB Cordrea Tankersley
New England: WR Devin Smith (shocked he was still in the league), WR Isaiah Zuber, K Roberto Aguayo
Philadelphia: RB Elijah Holyfield, WR Deontay Burnett, TE Hakeem Butler, TE Tyree Jackson, S Blake Countess
San Francisco: WR Austin Proehl, WR Kevin White, DE/DT Josiah Coatney, S Obi Melifonwu

Dallas is booting DC Mike Nolan and DL Jim Tomsula out. Eagles are also letting LB Coach Ken Flajole go as they revamp their staff.

Houston is being seen as an absolute dumpster fire that nobody wants to go to and the Watson drama isn't helping matters.

Houston ownership's racism is the sole cause of the problems there. It is not Watson's drama, or anything else. It is 1000% McNair's racism.

Oh, I know. I'm just saying, Deshaun's going to make it hell to trade him.

Now that Pederson is out, that opens the door for the Eagles to possibly keep Wentz. I don't think it's a great idea, but it's on the table now.

Jim Caldwell is gaining steam as the probable new Head Coach in Houston.

Throwing a nationally televised game apparently has consequences.

The 3 finalists for the Atlanta GM job seem to be: Rams Director of College Scouting Brad Holmes, Saints Assistant GM Terry Fontenot, and ex-Texans GM Rick Smith.

Raiders have hired Gus Bradley as DC while Dan Quinn will take over as DC for Dallas.

Bears are retaining Matt Nagy and Ryan Pace.

DC Chuck Pagano has had enough and is retiring.

Pace's choice to keep Nagy puts them both firmly on the chopping block for next season. Bears cap situation is not good either. They have no QB and no WRs now that Allen Robinson is a UFA. The Bears only way to create cap is cutting half their starting O-Line in Charles Leno & Bobby Massie, which I'm fine with. Or cutting quality defensive players like Akiem Hicks and Kyle Fuller. Either way, Pace has dug himself firmly into a hole. I don't believe he will be allowed to make any long lasting contractual moves without getting an okay from team president Ted Phillips and chairman George McCaskey.

Hopefully by this time next year I will get to fire up the FIRE JERRY ANGELO DAY thread.

Looks like Urban Meyer may be the next coach of the Jacksonville Jaguars. Man, I wish Inc still posted here so we could get his analysis.

Also I hope this means we get Urban Meyer showing up on AEW Dynamite!

Probably drafting Trevor then, I would think.

Edit: Instead of trading for Deshaun, I mean.

Yeah. There's a lot of talk that Urban is "infatuated" with Lawrence and that was a big reason in him accepting the Jaguars HC job.
