Brad and Bob definitely were a team and champions in Georgia. They were JCP partners in 87ish as well. I would imagine the Continental areas had them partner too (no time to verify that right now) and they definitely did some SMW shots together.

Greg and Verne teamed 39 times that are listed.

Fritz w/ Kerry, Kevin and David probably have a bunch too from the late 70s.

Maybe I'll come up with some more obscure answers later when I have time to think.

As seen in the Road Warrior Animal thread, Curt & Larry Hennig had at least one match as a team.

Apparently, that was an error and it was a Michigan indy manager that had a son of Mr. Fuji gimmick. Thank God.

As seen in the Road Warrior Animal thread, Curt & Larry Hennig had at least one match as a team.
Larry and Curt teamed in Portland in 1982ish for a good bit as Curt was getting established. He and Curt had a feud with the Roadies in the AWA based on the famous angle that made the Roadies DVD where Curt is bloodied in the ropes and Larry makes the save from the commentary booth. Curt was floating around with his Dad, Greg Gagne and IIRC Tom Zenk doing shots as his partner.

Larry had a little run at the end of his career as he also teamed with Crusher Blackwell and others in random pairings against the Freebirds IIRC.

Larry gets a heck of a pop at WrestleRock 86, as he refs the boxing match IIRC. Hennig had been benched the previous Sept/Oct as Verne tried to focus on younger talent for his new ESPN deal,

Larry came back in 87 to get physical with Greg during the late 1987 era Hennig/Gagne feud. That drew out Verne and IIRC the daddies got into it at one of the holiday shows, leading to a cage match with Hennig vs Curt. Verne I believe wanted Larry to work a Daddy/Son tag match, but couldn't get Larry to do it.

---

Angelo teamed with both Lanny and Randy Savage a good bit,

@Baby Shoes don't act like you didn't imagine Shawn Michaels and Maven as the New New Rockers if even for just a split second

oh man, that super dream team battling the New Rockers while Marty claims he was responsible for decapitating someone that turns out to be Al Snow Cassidy’s Head.

There were so many cool options for Piper. I don't think he'd mind elevating people, either. Piper/Regal is so natural. Piper could make all the stupid jokes he wanted and it'd be worth it for Regal's facial expressions.

...that program would've likely been ruined by 1995 booking, but damn the promos would've been fire.

Had no idea Piper was even around in '95. I thought he disappeared after the Lawler match at KOTR '94 and didn't pop back up until he replaced Monsoon as president.

I guess he also refed the Hart/Backlund match at WMXI.

Piper could've been useful in 1995.

I remember them airing a few seconds of one of those Piper/Kid matches right around the time of WM12 in some video package I guess to hype Piper's match with Goldust.

Yeah. He hosted encore presentations of Royal Rumble ‘95 and WrestleMania XI. They really should have used him more but Piper was probably tied up filming Z movies with Sonny Chiba and pre Tae Bo Billy Blanks.

He made his softcore porn flick Dead Tides (with Tawny Kitaen) around this time as well.

Yes I watched it.
