Pictures That Make Sports What They Are

Can we establish a difference between "pictures I like" and pictures that make sports..."?

I kind of associate the PIL with very general sports pictures whereas the PTMS I associate (hopefully the thread follows suit) with either memorable moments or pictures that kind of capture the emotions of the game (i.e. any of the pictures with a championship trophy being held or somebody shown crushed after a defeat)

Yeah, I agree. Also, pivotal moments in big rivalries are also good (The Vernon/Roy fight is a good one).

I disagree. I think there's an inherent silliness in sports that needs to be showcased as well. That ninja kick NBA picture is a perfect example
