i'm glad they're all just ignoring his stupid orders and doing what they think is best. having all the experienced and knowledgeable ministers and secretaries completely undermine his authority will do a good job of exposing his lack of credibility come election time. he's like a lame-duck champion at this point, Bret Trump keeping the title warm so Heart Break Biden can fulfill the boyhood dream.

I gotta say, that as much as George Floyd's murder made me think terrible things about this country, that this is the first time in a long time that I was proud to be from this country. This level of sustained protest and disobedience of pigs is something to be proud of.

I don't know where this fits, but my university is removing confederate names from two of the more populated academic buildings on campus and replacing them with "College of...building" names. Usual suspects (that have actually been calling for justice for Mr. Floyd) are whining about "mah history."
I don't know that the university president is responding to these events, or if it's just timing working out, but good. I remember being a Freshman wandering around, "Y'all know the south lost, right?"
Every time I see the article shared I keep being the asshole that writes, "As a graduate in history, from this university, I support this decision."

Police already arrested a guy in this case. Fuck this dude for assaulting a kid just for trying to put up flyers regarding Floyd's death. Also note how he chased the camera filmer down after the fact. This is why the cops are so fucked in this protest too because it's become a necessity to film everything just for proof/justice. The fact several have tried to cover up badge numbers/names says it all too.
