Re: Recent DVD Purchases

I have "Green Room" pre-ordered too. Also pre-ordered other things for July.

From Amazon: "The Taking of Pelham 1-2-3" (the original), "Blood and Black Lace" and "Return of the Living Dead" From Diabolik DVD, I ordered "Dr. Butcher, M.D." From ImportCD's, it was "Carnival of Souls"

Also, September is going to bleed my wallet dry.

Just picked up The Diary of a Lost Girl with Louise Brooks off Amazon.co.uk for $11.61 (was on sale for ÂŁ8.73) and even with the packing/shipping (total of $16.30) it was still cheaper than the Kino Lorber US Release.

It's Region B Locked but I can play it on my external Blu-Ray player and having the proper aspect ratio and better picture make it worth the price.

Best Buy has their steelbook for The Force Awakens on sale for $14.99. Didn't pick it up when it came out and didn't see the movie on any Black Friday sales so I caved and got it today, even though I rarely pay double digit dollars for a movie these days.

Best Buy has other steelbooks on sale. Hadn't noticed the other day but the 2016 Ghostbusters steelbook is $9.99 right now, so I just ordered that too, as I wasn't seeing any better price for Black Friday.

Was going to maybe pick up some movies at Target tomorrow because they have a few on sale and a 10% off cartwheel but seeing it again, found some of the prices cheaper elsewhere as early as tomorrow and some on Black Friday.

Have a few items from Best Buy in my cart now that are supposed to be in the Sunday ad cheap, then a few things marked from Best Buy on Black Friday and Target's Finding Dory deal and probably be set on buying for some time, barring any crazy pricing.

X-Men Apocalypse for $15 on Amazon. Was thinking of getting Warcraft for $15 as well, but gonna hold off on that and see if there's a sequel - and if there is, I'll just wait for the inevitable boxset down the road like I did with LOTR. :)
