Not too many children's authors create such iconic characters as Ramona Quimby nor live to be 104 so I thought a thread was worthy of her. Crazy to think her Henry Huggins series was written in the 50s and most of her Ramona works in the 70s considering how long they've endured. I remember the Ramona Quimby series more but they were pretty key reading to my sister and I growing up.
Fun Fact: Beezus and Ramona was written in 1955, then the 2nd book: Ramona the Pest was written in 1968(!)
