Dead at 75

This one hurts as a Mets fan since I was 7. I was in awe of Seaver even though I never saw him pitch live.

Quite simply one of the best pitchers of all time.

RIP

One of the best pitchers of all time and one of the most popular pitchers of all time. Met fans treated him like a hero whenever he came back to pitch with an opposing team.

A true legendary pitcher. Had 100 more wins than losses at the end of the 1979 MLB Season. Actually went 75-46 for Cincinnati too including 14-3 in 1977 and 14-2 in 1981!

Obviously the greatest Met of all time, but Seaver is also slept on as a candidate for greatest pitcher of all time. RIP to the Franchise.
