soulseek question

I downloaded Soulseek but I have a problem where it won't download stuff. I looked at the FAQ and it says it's because I have Service Pack 2 and it says there is a way around it but I don't know how to do that. I am extremely bad at computer stuff. Help would be appreciated.

If you can't download at all, it may be something else like a blocked port or whatever (I don't know, I don't use Soulseek), but try running the below file and see what happens :

http://half-open.com/Half-open_limit_fix_3.7.exe

Go with the limit of 100 connections, click "Add to tcpip.sys", reboot.
