HC Jeremy Pruitt was fired after an internal investigation related to recruiting violations. All of the assistant coaches and the entire recruiting staff have been fired. A quote from an ESPN article makes it clear it wasn't some small thing going on, "What's astonishing is the number of violations and their efforts to conceal the wrongdoing." .... "Sources told ESPN that Tennessee's recruitment of Amarius Mims, the No. 3 offensive tackle and No. 19 player overall in the 2021 ESPN 300 rankings, is part of the inquiry. Mims signed with Georgia."
Now there's a story of $$ being paid to recruits that came from the Dan Patrick Show.
Phil Fulmer is retiring after serving 3 years as leader of the Athletic Department while all of this happened. Sanctions are definitely coming their way. This could/should be a pretty big story so I thought it was deserving of its own thread.
