I like it tho. I got a short window tonight so rapid fire picks sounds great esp with the auto drafters holding it down.

Re: The RealTSM Chat MLB Fantasy League - DRAFT MARCH 14th

every other year half the draft bitches at me because the pick time is too long and the rest don't say anything so I put it at that.

Re: The RealTSM Chat MLB Fantasy League - DRAFT MARCH 14th

:/ Come on 9s. We know he didn't intentionally do it and obviously we all (CWM, me, you everyone) screwed up by conditionally agreeing without actually thinking how short 15 seconds were. It is what it is. And CWM, it happens. I've done it. It is okay.

I think I came out alright.

C - Austin Barnes, Evan Gattis
1B - Anthony Rizzo, Jose Abreu, Matt Olson, Greg Bird
2B - Rougned Odor
3B - Jake Lamb, Nick Castellanos, Matt Chapman, Rafael Devers
SS - Marcus Siemian
OF - Bryce Harper, Steven Souza Jr., Andrew Benintendi, Lewis Brinson
SP - Dallas Keuchel, Gio Gonzalez, Marcus Stroman, Drew Pomeranz, Aaron Sanchez
RP - Mike Clevinger, Tyler Chatwood

Only position I don't have covered well is SS, pitchers are pretty much replacement levels anyways. I'll probably drop Brinson to make a pick up for the moment.

Re: The RealTSM Chat MLB Fantasy League - DRAFT MARCH 14th

Were there multiple leagues drafting tonight? I was in one that I had the second pick on from clicking the link and then got booted after making the first round pick and then I finished a draft, but I don't think it was this one. I'm confused and if I wasn't in the right one sorry if I slowed it down. Fucking weird.

Re: The RealTSM Chat MLB Fantasy League - DRAFT MARCH 14th

My suggestion for next season.

Rosters are entirely too massive for no reason for a weekly h2h setup. If we did a daily roster move format it would make more sense to have immense benches. With weekly, our benches are basically just developmental guys and excess hurt guys.

Current Setup:
C 1B 2B SS 3B OF OF OF UTL UTL SP SP RP RP P P P P BN BN BN BN BN BN DL DL

Proposed Setup:
C 1B 2B SS 3B OF OF OF UTL SP SP SP RP RP P P BN BN BN BN DL DL NA NA

NA is the prospect away from the big league team slot {not suspended guys}

Bump Innings Requirements up to 20 or 22. There's no reason with 3 designated SP positions you shouldn't get 5 IP a piece from them, leaving 5 IP for the 2 RP and 2 P spots.

4 Roster spots have been eliminated. That's going to add 48 people to the waiver wire. It was hell on earth last year finding anything useful off the waiver wire. I'm sure it'll be the same again this year.

15 seconds for draft time limits is bad. You might as well just make the draft autodraft at that point. 45 seconds is the absolute minimum. If your goal is to get the draft done as fast as humanly possible than just don't do a live draft at all and make it auto pick. Drafts always take like 2 hours. Another solution to hasten the draft would be set the roster size to 16, have no bench. Then once the draft is over, readd the bench spots and let teams add free agents or use waiver claims.

That's my suggestion for a format change.

Also, if my team somehow makes the playoffs and even wins a playoff matchup than good god that proves how flawed this format is. I have a second tier SP2 as my ace, 96 closers and 75% of my batters will be dumpster dive free agents.

Re: The RealTSM Chat MLB Fantasy League - DRAFT MARCH 14th

I don't mind the larger bench solely due to injuries and the new MLB 10 Day DL stints. Baseball Forecaster noted that the # of players who spent 15 days or fewer on the DL jumped to 87 from 12 and 19 the prior 2 seasons.

The # of players who had DL stints went from 442, 422, 454, 478 to 533 last year and will likely be around that this year too.

With that said, I always prefer daily lineup leagues just because there's no excuse to not find some way to do it. It literally takes 5-10 seconds to swap.

Re: The RealTSM Chat MLB Fantasy League - DRAFT MARCH 14th

I kind of forgot to make add/drops to my pitching staff for the week. So who knows what will happen.

NA is the prospect away from the big league team slot {not suspended guys}

People can give opinions on all of this or offer suggestions. If you're HQ please keep it under 10 paragraphs.
