It sure doesn't seem like a good thing that a third of the teams in this truncated season finale have shut down...

Yeah, this is either not going to happen or it's going to get stopped half the way through. The country has handled this in the most stupid way imaginable. It's no surprise that sports started up everywhere else but here and didn't have any of these problems. Formula 1, for example, just had literally zero cases.

for all the shit dana gets and deserves, they seem to be doing a good job of holding shows while minimizing the spread of the virus. as far as covid goes, t's probably safer to fight for the UFC on Fight Island than to live in America as a citizen.

Even NASCAR, whom people snickered at three months ago for "overdoing" it have only had one case and that was a couple of days ago. Imagine if that sport was still run by the good ol' boys

They've also been traveling all over the country. The difference to me anyway is that all Nascar teams are based in Charlotte, which isn't a hot spot. The idea that these sports could restart in places like Florida was ludicrous to begin with. If they wanted to do it right they needed to go somewhere like Idaho or Montana, where there are very few cases, where people can be as close to truly isolated as possible.

I was at Penn State main campus (I did 2 years at a satellite campus & 2 years at main) when Calvin Booth was there as a freshman & sophomore, I'd see him walking around campus all the time. Dude was so gangly and awkward looking, I thought for sure he had no pro prospects. Still dumbfounded he lasted 10 years in the NBA and made $39M!

I just saw that. I was like "wait, really?". I had to double look at it because I wouldn't've thought that about him at all. Goes to show they can hide in plain sight and you just don't know it unless you are around them all the time or until they be blatant about it.

Just imagine a quarantine bubble with real men like the league used to be. MJ and Oak weren’t playing with fucking game boys I can promise you that.

Pau gonna make a run for the 2021 Olympics, apparently.

Pau Gasol is nearing a one-year deal with Barcelona, in preparation for the Tokyo Olympics in 2021.

Bummed that live comedy is a long way from restarting in Maine so I can't do a "Woj Bomb? More like F BOMB!" joke that only the 4 other hardcore NBA fans in Maine would get this weekend.

The fuck you email was sent from his espn.com account. So, yeah. That's probably the only reason ESPN did this. If this was Woj's personal account, probably wouldn't matter.
