I saw that. I already know what it is going to be and it will be lame. I just know it. Unless it's a song about how Daltrey can fuck himself for being realistic, I have low expectations. I mean Daltrey had no idea the last album was happening until Townshend told him, and then he got forced into it. I've put off listening to it for a reason.

In 2014, they put out "Be Lucky."

This is one of the worst things to have the Who name on it, and I can't be swayed otherwise. No Who song should, by name, reference AC/DC, Daft Punk, and Kylie. That's...weird and wrong. When this came out, I was actively embarrassed.

For a wide variety of reasons, this is why they should stop.

I was gonna say lol at Townshend ripping off Marty McFly but then I realized The Who/Clash tour was three years before BTTF and am like “Did BTTF’s costume designer get the inspiration for Marty McFly’s look from 40 year old Pete Townsend?”

Heroin Flock Of Eagles Townshend is one of the most embarrassing visuals in rock history. MTV making him one of those fellow kids. He looked like Face Dances sounded, though.

A Clash/Who tour without Moon is a waste of potential. Firmly believe that had Moon lived longer he'd have become a pretty pivotal figure in punk.

I got to say The Who had brass balls for inviting The Clash (at the height of their powers) open for them during a personal and career low point. And ykw? The Who is such a great live act even in the post-Moon era that I really haven’t heard any stories of them getting blown off stage during this tour. They at least held their own.

The Clash were probably honored, just because of the cache the Who had with the punks. Even at their lowest, they still were royalty. It's like St. Anger Metallica asking Slipknot to tour with them. You just gotta because they're that iconic.

Rolling Stones are maybe best example of classic rock band with brass balls. They had Appetite era Guns N Roses and Late Registration era Kanye West (and St Anger Metallica!) open for them. When you can humble Kanye…

Kanye is weirder than any of them. GNR makes sense to me because Axl should've been the next Jagger-type icon and I bet Keith and Slash got along really well.

Outside of the Who and Clash, which I wasn't born for, the show I really wish I made was a couple with the Stones and Tom Waits in SF. Couldn't get out there in time.

To make it weirder, Keith said Charlie Watts picked all of the Stones’ openers and specifically mentioned Kanye. So now you can imagine Charlie Watts slightly bobbing his head to “Golddigger”. RIP.

You can probably turn that into really solid track for the Some Girls era. It'd be on brand for the time.

Watts was a lame drummer and never got shit. He deserved Ringo misplaced hate.

Keith Richards is underrated and Brian Jones was buried by the band for so long that people are only now realizing how good he really was.

Getting pie faced on imperial IPAs at the casino and the cover band is playing a medley of Peter Gabriel’s “Sledgehammer” and “Eminence Front”. I don’t even know Vale IRL but that made me miss him.

It might've sounded more like "Face The Face," though, down to the embarrassing live act. It would definitely vibe on White City.

This entire show is fascinating and I'll talk about it at some point, but this seemed relevant. And it's awesome.

If it's better than Psychoderelict, go nuts.

Nothing he ever says is completely true, though.

"Eminence Front" means it'll be it.

They also busted out "Cooks County," I think, so it's got some It's Hard deep cuts. Super.

He is referencing "They Are All In Love," which is on By Numbers (the most underrated album in their canon), which was talking about himself in 1975:

Hey, goodbye all you punks
Stay young and stay high
Just hand me my checkbook
And I'll crawl out to die

Like a woman in childbirth
Grown ugly in a flash
I'm seen magic and fame
Now I'm recycling trash

And I mean...
