Up is almost at 200 mil and will pass Star Trek in the next couple of weeks

Hangover crosses 100 mil, second week at the top. I had no idea it would do so well, I guess the constant positive press and reviews are keeping it going.

Not really. I expected it to do a little better being that it's a family comedy and schools are out, but I guess Up is taking all of that audience, as it should.

Looks like Dance Flick won't even break $30,000,000. Will this FINALLY end these shitty parody films for awhile?

The Hangover only dropped 25%, that is serious staying power.

Transformers will no doubt take the top next week, but The Hangover will probably still finish 2nd.

I wonder if Murphy is going to stick to what he said about 6 or 7 months ago. That if another one of his family films bomb, he's going to do a Nutty Professor 3, and then going back to stand-up while doing R-rated comedies and the Shrek films on the side.

Also, the sequel for The Hangover is already lined up. I wonder if they can get Cooper back since he's going to probably be huge from the A-Team and Green Lantern films.

Apparently, he wants to do "Beverly Hills Cop IV" and call it a day as far as acting goes.

THE HANGOVER doesn't need a sequel. It was fine as a stand alone film.

The movie studios don't care about that. Watch them run it into the ground like the American Pie franchise.

That's exactly what my friend said when I brought it up to him in a conversation.
