Polls, Graphs, and Charts The Thread!
« on: February 12, 2017, 06:22:59 AM »
We need a thread for interesting polls/etc from around the world. I was inspired by a few recent ones.

https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2017/02/03/upshot/which-country-do-americans-like-most-for-republicans-its-australia.html

This came out right after Trump got in the screaming fight with the Aussie PM.

and while Americans have a fairly high opinion of Germany right now, German opinion of the US has dropped considerably since Trump took office:

Quote
A new poll shows that German trust in the transatlantic relationship has dropped to a level equatable to public trust in Russia since Donald Trump was elected US President.
In total, seven out of ten respondents told research group Infratest dimap that the US is not a trusted ally of Germany at the moment.

That was a drop of 37 percent compared to a survey conducted in November, marking a record historic low for faith in the transatlantic partnership, Die Welt reports.

This is a good overall look at how America was viewed a little over a year ago. It's mostly favorable.

Have to compare it to the next one to come out though. I don't think it will be as good. This isn't an America hating thing on my end btw just think it's interesting.

Here's something fun and not CE related but fuck it: http://poly-graph.co/vocabulary.html Rappers by Largest Vocabs!

Some interesting stuff in here:  https://www.voterstudygroup.org/reports/2016-elections/political-divisions-in-2016-and-beyond

Hillary and Bernie voters agree on most things, except corruption in politics and international trade. Bernie voters were actually a tad more conservative on some economic issues.

Libertarians don't real.
