Well that’s an option I will never use.  Unless there is a trophy.

Got the early version on PS4.. my only complaint so far are the ridiculous loading times for every aspect of the game. From loading into the main menu, into a match, into a creating an entrance, everywhere. It's fucking brutal.

The shadow floating down the wall is pretty hilarious.

Opposite Attractions - a comedy design podcast where two idiots design their very own theme parks. Now in Season 2 - creating a theme park based on the INTERNET.

And the Ultimate Warrior killed Daniel Bryan.

Cena is incredible.

Watching glitch videos for a WWE game is a part of the experience, IMO. Some of them are hilarious, though I have never experienced any first hand in any WWE game, tbh.

Should note that the people finding these glitches usually play these games inside and out, every which way, and for a fuckton of time. I've played for probably about 5 hours now, in all sorts of modes, and have yet to encounter anything like in that thread.. it's actually one of the smoothest WWE games in recently memory.

I wish 2K Games would get another developer for these games. I know every year people say the same thing. Graphically I think they're good but the matches are generally boring to play.  I went on GameFAQs and this is the only game Yukes makes. Kind of strange considering the quality of them every year.

I can only fault Yukes for half. 2K designs and QA's the game. They're responsible for catching the bugs and improving gameplay, via direction to Yukes. Just like THQ, they just don't seem to give a shit.

Visually? IMO the difference between this year and last year is night and day. The new lighting engine really helps.

Yeah, visually. Environments are nice, but the wrestlers themselves are either hits or very bad misses. Quite jarring really.

Career mode is so realistic. I came up from NXT as an undefeated champion. So the first hung they did was job me to Mark Henry and Big Show.

New hastag is tymo&cashew. Roster cutrently consists of: the hulk, deathstroke, bane, mr freeze, penguin, wolverine/logan, krillin, goku, vegeta, piccolo, magneto

This is pretty much all I use the game for. Gunna create a stadium and a show in Universe mode with caws.. but I don't really understand how universe mode gets exciting unless I'm playing it wrong.

Fire Pro World's PS4 release will have an official NJPW tie-in. That means that NJPW wrestlers on the base roster will be their actual personas and not look-alikes!

http://www.playstationlifestyle.net/2018/01/02/fire-pro-wrestling-world-njpw-officially-announced/

EDIT: also some mode tie-ins:

"STORY MODE: Enter as a young Lion and become IWGP champion"

I got the Deluxe Edition of WWE 2K18, and I sorta "booked" an 8-man tag team match with The Four Horsemen (Ric Flair, Arn Anderson, Brian Pillman, & Chris Benoit) vs. The Hart Foundation (Bret Hart, Owen Hart, British Bulldog, & Jim Neidhart) at WrestleMania.

The Four Horsemen won the match after Ric Flair made The British Bulldog tap out to the Figure Four Leglock. Total Dream Match.

So my simmed universe was getting shit for views, and I scrapped it. Just going to start posting random matches. Here's an 8-man scramble match using NJPW CAWs.. turns into a crazy triple threat near the end:

These are my top viewed videos on YouTube.. clearly I need to get back to doing retro wrestling games. As soon as I get a new laser for my PS2, I wanted to start doing some Wrestle Kingdom 2 stuff (this is around the era when The Voodoo Murders were big and just before RISE started in New Japan, 2007ish).

Does anyone here know how to get my wrestlers to wrestle in any of the custom/created arenas that I downloaded in the community creations section of WWE 2K18? I can seem to get to those arenas.

You have to make a show and assign it the custom arena. I believe it's also under the creation menu.

I bought WWE 2K18 on Steam yesterday. It runs about 24 FPS on my PC. The matchup screens look like their from the N64 day. I really like the roster though.
