Outside of Jones vs Cormier almost all fights in recent years where it seems like the two involved genuinely hate each other have sucked balls. Given how Woodley has performed recently and given the stakes involved I expect the same from this one. I'm sure both guys know what to expect being that they've trained together but despite his rep as a knockout artist Tyron is in no way in the business of putting on entertaining fights. That dude fights to not lose, not to win.

I’m torn on Woodley vs Colby. Tyron finally has someone that can sell a fight with talking. However Colby still isn’t a well known name. And when it’s a battle of figures that many fans don’t like either way, it’s kinda hard to tell how this will draw.

If Colby shows up to fight like he did Saturday more often I’m on board with him. The talk is an act, so i can’t take most of it seriously.

This did 150,000 buys according to the LA Times.

Think that number is pretty fishy. Even with Punk it won't do crazy numbers but ~150K seems low.

WON says they don't have solid figures for #UFC225, but other early estimates are far above the 150k buys LAT reported. Says by next week they should have something that at least confirms the range of how it did.

If this card drew anything it was because of Punk. The biggest name besides him on the card amongst casuals was likely Overeem and he was on the prelims.

What's weird is Dana White thinking Overeem wasn't a big draw like Punk when talking about why he was on the prelims... when the only proof he had of that was on a card with Punk on the undercard... on a card that Overeem headlined.

UFC 225, a show that was supposed to feature two title matches, is currently estimated at doing about 250,000 buys on pay-per-view

That's a pretty good number for a show featuring two guys I am led to believe nobody cares about. They should do the third fight on a mega card.

I'm not sure we'll see Yoel get the chance again. If you're the UFC why run the risk? Or if you're Whittaker why take the fight?

Bobby Knuckles was playing Skyrim on his Twitch stream and kinda sorta definitely implied that Yoel was juiced to the gills in their fight.

Yoel getting caught in 2016 only to be saved by a B-Sample excludes him from being the Juicy Juice Boy GOAT. The champ in that division is GSP, never got caught, never gonna get caught.
