OG lightweight and all around violence god Joachim Hansen has been forced into retirement due to a stroke he suffered last month  :'(

The war with Eddie Alvarez is an all-timer and I loved his fights with Yves Edwards and Mach Sakurai plus the upset win over Aoki after entering the DREAM tourney as a reserve is such a great moment.

So am I the only one that enjoys "IT IS ALL OVER!" ?
I watched RAW. I thought it sucked. The usual problems and such.

You know why mma has rarely ever had iconic sports calls?

It's because of "It's All Over".

Eddie Bravo is insufferable when he's on Rogan's podcast. And I feel like I have outgrown Jim Rome. So I hope neither of those are real options.

Can't forget all the times the moment should have been able to just sit by itself without him saying that.

It would be a perfect time is a flat circle moment back to when Goldberg almost replaced JR in 2005 when Raw went back to USA.

I know a lot of people don't care for him, but I enjoyed Gus Johnson's short time calling MMA matches.  He also trains somewhat if I remember correctly, so has at least some knowledge on the sport.   Jim Rome I used to listen to a lot when I was younger, but up until recently I didn't think he was much of an MMA guy besides the huge fights that no one can really ignore anymore.

Gus forever lost me when he proclaimed Seth beating Kimbo Slice as the greatest upset in the history of mma

He pulled out the win and is no doubt one of the best action fighters in the game but struggling with a weathered gatekeeper in Buscape should temper the expectations of people who wanted to see Justin Gaethje in against the cream of the crop in the UFC.
