Ohtani is tied with Trout for the team lead in RBI's in only 26 at bats. Leads the majors in slugging percentage as well. This kid is ridiculous.

Watching everyone at Fenway dressed like it's a mid-November Patriots game is both hilarious and sad because it's the goddamn middle of April.

Ohtani is pitching Tuesday which should be fun to watch.

The Reds have scored the least amount of runs (44 total/2.93 per) and given up the most runs (92/6.13) in MLB. Unsurprisingly they have the worst record (2-13).

Tim Tebow hit a three run home run in his first AA at bat. He hasn't had an RBI since. 13 strikeouts in 25 plate appearances, no walks.

He's up to about a season's worth of plate appearances. 582 PAs, .221/.303/.335, 9 home runs, 51 walks, 159 strikeouts.

44 year old Bartolo Colon was pitching a no hitter through 8 2/3 innings until Josh Reddick hit a double off him.

MLB.com has run Beat the Streak for many years. Basically you pick a hitter everyday to get a hit and keep it up for 56 games. In the last few seasons, because no one has done it, you can pick two a day. The rainouts are messing up my hitting streaks. I picked Trout yesterday and the Angels didn't play in KC.

Currently the Red Sox are 5.5 games up on the Yankees and the Diamondbacks are 5.5 games up on the Dodgers. The Mets are 6 up on the Nationals. I don't put much stock in early season results, but if you told me you would give a six game handicap on these division leaders as a bet I'd be tempted to take it.

Also, Kevin Kiermaier of the Rays will miss 8-12 weeks with an injured thumb. The Rays are already 3-12. Losing one of the best defensive players in baseball will do them no favors.

I think they would have had a small crowd anyway because of the weather and the Leafs game on down the street, but the Jays game getting cancelled after their Twitter account spent the whole weekend saying how the games in Cleveland wouldn't have been delayed if they were played in Toronto is pretty funny.

The Red Sox didn't hit any grand slams last year.  Devers just hit I think their 5th or 6th one already this year.  This team is roaring out of the gate and it's not just the offense; the starting pitching have been pretty much locking it down so far.

Not only did they not hit any Grand Slams last year, but I seem to remember at least 20 times they have the bases loaded with 0 outs and didn't even score a single run.

https://www.mlb.com/reds/news/bryan-price-dismissed-as-reds-manager/c-272898702

Bryan Price has been fired as Reds manager, along with pitching coach Mack Jenkins. The club named bench coach Jim Riggleman as interim manager and promoted AAA manager Pat Kelly to bench coach and AA pitching coach Danny Darwin to the main club.

Every team needs a bullpen arm to go out an get thumped and absorb some innings. How the mighty have fallen.

Somehow seems fitting that the hottest team in baseball got no-hit tonight with nary a peep in here

Fun fact: Boston had the second longest no no-hit streak going back to 1993.  The longest? Oakland (1991).

I was too involved with trying to get to sleep early for once and woke up to find out about the no-hitter via your post.

Walker Buehler called up and starting for the Dodgers tomorrow. Very happy with that.
