Pure awesomeness, for sure. Also, they couldn't have picked a better guy than  Chris Burnham to complement Quitely's style as a follow up artist.

I haven't gotten to this issue yet but come on, guys... it's what literally every 5-8 year old boy grows up dreaming.  Robin finally dies at Batman's feet (hopefully) and Batman is left to try and bow & arrow a horde of blood thirsty dinosaurs trying to eat him.

Some of my favorite Jack Kirby work is from his run on Jimmy Olsen.

Back in 2006-2007, a new comic adaptation of The Transformers: The Movie was published to coincide with the 20th Anniversary DVD release. It stays faithful to the movie for the most part, I've heard.

While the theatrical movie was released after Season 2 of the original show, it mostly only incorporated Season 1 characters (aside from new characters for the movie). This was because it was written and put into production before the show's second season.

In the movie, Devastator does some serious damage on Autobot City. For a long time, fans wondered where the hell Season 2 characters that could have neutralized him, like Omega Supreme, the Aerialbots, or the Protectobots were (and the Stunticons and Combaticons on the other side). For a long time, the fan explanation was that they must have been on a mission somewhere else in the galaxy (they obviously weren't on Moonbases 1 or 2).

The new comic adaptation tried to retcon this by having the absent big boys battling by the old Autobot base, and therefore unable to help at Autobot City.

The most far-fetched part of that story is Susan Richards letting her son pack a whole thing of Twinkies.

Their article is 3 years old tbf. Putting your own spin on something is as important as finding something new. It's not easy to find something no one has ever talked about in the history of the internet these days.

It's always fun re-reading these old Batman issues and seeing how much the female villains want him.

From April 1947 of 'Detective Comics', even Robin knows Catwoman is into Batman.

From June 1966, Poison Ivy debuts in 'Batman' and digs both Batsy and Bruce Wayne
