Passed at 61. No cause of death reported yet. I remember losing my shit when he was on married with children. Very cool moment for a young wrestling fan. By accounts I’ve heard a very nice guy. His Twitter was apparently active a few hours ago.

I loved to hate King Kong Bundy as a little kid rassling fan back in the day. He was much better than your average fat fuck heel in my view. Gorilla Monsoon used to call Bundy "a condominium with feet." Destroying Hulk Hogan en route to the WrestleMania II cage match was one of the earliest angles I remember sinking my teeth into.

61 is too fucking young to go out these days. RIP.

Never saw much of him in his heyday other than the Hogan steel cage match. I mainly remember from his mid-90s run in the Million Dollar Corporation (and his appearance on Married with Children, of course). He was an intimidating heel in my formative wrestling viewing years, though. RIP.

As someone who started watching in the New Generation era, my biggest memories of him are during his '94-'95 run. Young me was positive we were going to get a King Kong Bundy Vs Bret Hart feud for the title (and later, I thought I'd get a KKB-Diesel feud) but it was not to be. Also I found out that King Kong Bundy fuckin' hated Bret IRL, which kind of shocked me but also explained why we didn't get a Bret Hart-King Kong Bundy feud in the mid '90s.

It is amazing that he didn't have a WCW run in the late '90s.

RIP big man. I had always secretly hoped for the King Kong Bundy/Undertaker feud to extend past WrestleMania 11 or get a Bundy/Sid feud in the mid-90s WWF though. Bundy against Diesel could've also been interesting.

Bundy was everything you'd ever want out of a monster heel and I think he's gotten more appreciated with time. He was always game and had some good matches, and drew money. I always really really liked him, and I too wanted him and Diesel at some point. Hell Bundy was my pick to win the '95 Rumble because holy shit.

I’d never seen my dad laugh harder at anything in wrestling in my life.

So I'm one of those Twitter users that tries to get acknowledgement from stars in various entertainment genres and Bundy, being one of the best heels ever, I of course tried to get his attention.

One tweet and he acknowledged me. I'll never forget it. He could have kept scrolling and rolled his eyes but he took the time.

Just a sad thing to lose someone at 61 but people of his size die a lot younger, too, so in some contexts he led a longer life than expected. Either way, people are sad and this sucks regardless.

I had seen the cat stuff online last night and it made me sad.  15-year old cat, hope it finds a good home.

His return in the 90s was kicked off with a silhouette in WWF magazine promising a monster was returning and looking for Hart's WWF gold.(IIRC)
