It's got to be the former. I can't imagine him getting the 3rd tone right without a couple of weeks of practice at least.

Last week's show was really, really bad.  The Tyson/Nattie stuff was indeed terrible, and I found the Ariane and Trinity stuff to be insulting to any aspiring female wrestler.  I understand this is all staged now, as no self respecting wrestling company would have a bad tag team take other people off of the card by having them wrestle in singles matches due to a shoving match at a go-cart track.

My favorite part of the show was during Cameron's match when she hit a drop kick and the editors used a clip of Michael Cole saying "A cross body by Cameron." Poor King and Cole sounded like video game announcers.

The Tyson/Nattie stuff is just embarrassingly bad right now. I can't wait for them to get married! I'm sure Nattie'll be so happy with this man child.

They got eloped before the show was taped. The wedding was staged for the show. Damien Sandow was there.

I find it hilarious that WWE is doing a "reality" show where everything is fake. Never trust that anything related to wrestling is the truth.
I watched RAW. I thought it sucked. The usual problems and such.

A unique move by the WWE, faking reality TV. How did no one else think of that before?

Lots of reality shows are scripted to some degree. The producers manipulate everything for dramatic effect.

My ears also hated the last episode.  Ariane and Trinity and their bickering is somewhat enraging.  It felt like a five-minute long backstage skit of them arguing.

I was referring to the fictional world of Total Divas. I sure hope TJ Wilson isn't anything like this show's version of him.

Ariane might be the most annoying person I've seen in a long, long time, by the way.

Yeah I know, but this just feels even more fake for some reason. Like it's completely scripted, not just manipulated by the producers.

I find it's getting more faked and more terrible as it goes on. The Nattie/Tyson Kidd stuff was brutal to watch.
I've heard rumors that Tyson agreed to play the chump for the show, in exchange for E! paying for their wedding/honeymoon/etc.

It's funny that most of the dudes on here are getting paid more than the actual divas by the E! network... it's just like real life. I can see why Cena was on board with it right away as this has to be his easiest payday yet. With his body falling apart and him not having that many years to go I can see him still finding some way to be apart of this show even if he does break up with Nikki.

Going by the last two episodes... especially the one where Ariane was considering getting breast implants, something is telling me that Tyson Kidd hangs out quite a bit with Orton, Truth, and RVD.

So I guess when Cena isn't around Nikki turns to the purple people eater. I'm sure tons of horny boys were delighted by that scene.

Man DB hangs out with a lot of jobbers. Curt Hawkins, Tyson Kidd, Justin Gabriel, the Usos (well i guess those two aren't complete jobbers)....what a party.

Also Arianne's boyfriend remains the world's largest douche.

Well, yes, of course it was a lame party. It's a well established fact that the best people to hang out with wind up being the top guys.

It was probably a snooze fest!

I liked how Nattie only invited the stars of Total Divas and Curt Hawkins to her bachelorette's party.

Also, lol at Jimmy Uso getting to use his real name but not his brother.

As time goes on, it does start to bother me quite a bit at the goals and dreams of these girls, based upon this show.  Taking bumps, and training is just minor objective of their day.  Their main goal is to get face time and rub elbows with celebrities.  I'd guess that it's just played up for the E! audience, but it does bother me.  Some of them have three years in a wrestling ring, and their maximum output is a three minute match that has them hitting a bunch of moves before they blatantly roll outside for an angle.

Meanwhile, Kaitlyn vanishes, and with her goes the **1/2-*** matches she was putting on with AJ, as well as real chemistry between people that are really passionate about wrestling. It's a shame, but hopefully AJ and maybe Kaitlyn are featured prominently in season two to beef up the workrate of the show.  Oh, and please make Ariane a background character.

Considering that half of the Divas were hired because Johnny Ace saw them in a magazine, it shouldn't be surprising that their main goal isn't to be the next Trish Stratus.

Hell, the Bellas got the name of the company *wrong* when they were first hired! They wrote on their MySpace that they were signed by the "World Wide Wrestling Federation/Organization"!

And anyway, remember, WWE isn't a "rasslin'" company. They're "entertainment". Their guys and girls are "Superstars" who can do everything!

Total Divas exists in a pocket universe where the rules of time as you know them do not apply.

Naomi's/Trinity's father who happens to be in the music business should be hired to do some themes for the WWE. He put a nice spin on the Brodus theme song and then his daughter and JoJo butchered the hell out of it... even in the studio session that was "good".

To be fair, when she was first hired, I don't think Trish's goal was to be the Trish Stratus we now know. Her first few years, with T&A and stuff she was essentially what these girls are now. Of course working with women who can actually work, helped pushed her further along, where as these Total Divas, are facing opponents with the exception of Nattie, who have just as little knowledge of ringwork as they do.

This may have been the fakest of all the Total Divas episodes.

So Nattie has this giant family that she goes on about and the only people there are a bunch of WWE wrestlers that we have previously seen on the show (and a few that we hadn't like Kofi).
I wonder where they had the real wedding at and when it was...

Also the whole TJ/Jaret drama was awful. WWE wrestlers are not great actors and the whole "fight" with Nattie seemed really forced.

Although I am looking forward to next "season" when John Cena wants Nikki to sign a pre-nup before moving in.

Ariana getting out of the car and having a throwdown with the guy was obviously set up.
And everything Eva Marie said sounded forced as hell.

Pretty much everyone says Cena is super nice in real life and even this show hasn't changed that perception.

I wanna see Punk on this show.
