Well it is the most sensual of all the salted, cured meats.

I used to eat turkey pastrami sandwiches like everyday for a long period of time.  Tried doing it again about a year ago and couldn't  :-\

I'm eating a pastrami as we speak. The one by my house only has hot girls working the counter. At the window outside, after you order all you see are the girls asses while they make your food. It's p. nice.

I've already been called a virulent anti-semite (what else can I be called anyways) so I might as well say the Jews didn't quite perfect this scheme.

Pastrami vs. Corned Beef?

And I second the suggestion that tongue is a fantastic deli meat. One of those things you can never get someone to try unless they don't know what it is they are eating, but it is pretty much universally loved once chowed down on.

Pastrami beats corned beef purely on the basis that it's smoked.

I think I prefer Montreal Smoked Meat vs Pastrami but not so much that I'd turn down pastrami.

Somehow have never had beef tongue at a deli, which is weird, because I'll eat it at other restaurants.
