As Kahran pointed out, Melvin Gordon ended his pretty pointless holdout missing 3 games (probably won't suit up for Week 4 either).

Also Baker Mayfield doesn't care about Rex Ryan's comments that he isn't a good QB because the only colors that matter are the Browns colors, dawg!

I am sure the Packers having 1 RB left healthy for basically 90% of the game won't come back to haunt us.

The Packers have 2 good vet TE's and can't figure out how to score in the red zone?

Innovative new offense~!

Appropriate that the Eagle who should have been ejected for murdering Jamal Williams is then responsible for forcing a fumble while possibly nicking up Rodgers.

Josh Allen REALLY needs to learn when to just safely get rid of the ball instead of taking sacks or chucking it up for grabs.

The defense and special teams are bailing out the offense big time this week.  Brady looks terrible out there today.

After an atrocious start to the game, the Bills are back in this.   Too bad the refs missed that obvious face mask at the end of the half (and/or Josh not taking that ridiculous sack on the next play,) or it would be tied right now.

Dan Fouts just called for intentional grounding and talked himself out of it in one sentence.

The Bills have a shot here if Allen doesn't do anything stupid.

The Bills are the first real opponent that New England has played and it is showing.

The red zone is where Gronk is sorely missed.  They don't have a replacement for him.

Dan Fouts is so painful to listen to.

I think Washington is worse than the Dolphins.  Miami at least seems to be making an effort.

I think the hit on Allen was worse than the hit Burfict did, the Allen hit was nullified by an offensive penalty. They really need to visit this inequality in penalties.

Yeah, no.  Burfict basically bullrushed a defenseless receiver.

All goes back to that sequence at the end of the first half.   If the Bills were in position for a chip shot FG there they don't force it on 4th and goal in the 4th quarter and this game is likely going to OT.

So should I feel good about Detroit getting a "moral victory" against KC, or like utter shit because they fumbled twice inside the 5, with one of them being housed the other way?

Is it just me or is QB play really bad this year?
Or maybe I should say the line play, because boy do QBs seem to be having it rough this year.

I had to go out around halftime, didn't see the second half, was surprised the Bills made a game of it.  Their defense looked solid from what I saw.  NE's only TD came off field position from D. McCourty's INT IIRC.  Amazing Gore is still trucking along.  Not sold on Allen or their offense as a whole.

Gostkowski missing chipshot EPs is starting to become a little more than concerning

You got it right the second time.  So many bad OLs now.  They get pushed around and bullied in game after game and otherwise good QBs are running for their lives.

QBs are much more mobile now and more willing to take off running to either gain yards or find someone open instead of throwing it away as well.

Bucs are basically steamrolling the .Rams.  Giants win at .Tampa last week looks a little more impressive now.

Wow the Vikings look like shit.  Maybe the Bears are this good?

I call it the Cousins Test.  He always stinks up the joint against good teams and murders bad teams.  There's no in between.

I was actually meaning that second one, but just wrote the first one instead. I don't know why. Maybe because I'm not used to linemen being this bad and thinking "nah, it can't be that they are this bad".

I think college football shoulders some of the blame for bad pro lines, but also all the roster turnover and coaching turnover in the NFL.  A really good offense line works in concert to execute the gameplan, hard to do that when your blocking schemes change every year and you barely know the guy you're lining up beside

With Monday's game still to come home teams went 3-11 this week. The only home teams to win were the Giants, Bears and Saints. All other road teams won

What is it going to take to kick this piece of shit out of the league for good? It's not like this is his first, or even 5th time being suspended.

And he constantly is doing ejectable hits literally since his Arizona State days. Not like he's suddenly going to change his spots now.

I think him being suspended by the league for the rest of the season is the "do this again, you are done, we've had enough". Because I'm sort of shocked he was hit with the rest of the season.

The lawyer though is trying to go "well, it was a football play, so this is entirely excessive and he should be able to play". I know that's just because he's a lawyer, but geezus, there's no way that this should be still happening.
