Sane is gonna be told to knock off that "telescope" gesture since it looks like jacking off.

It just doesn't roll off the tongue. But like any other name in WWE I'll get used to it from hearing it so much and then if they ever go back to the indies I'll be like "War Machine? Who?"
I watched RAW. I thought it sucked. The usual problems and such.

I'm guessing they didn't do War Machine due to the Marvel character?

Maybe. I think WWE just wants to be able to market the name and own it.

I can never figure out their logic behind who gets to keep their name or not. My thought is kind of that guys like EC3 and Richochet signed their names over to them to where they won't be able to use them if they ever left WWE.

Did you watch the season with him on it? I felt like he was a loose cannon with emotional issues when I watched the show, as did I think everyone else who watched it. So you know none of that came as a huge shock when it came out. Just wondering if I was in the same boat as everyone else.

Of all the topics for me to talk about on this week’s NXT, this may seem random but they really should not break up Sabbatelli and Moss.  The tag division is starting to get bloated but these two will flounder even more as singles.  Honestly, the best spot would be a mid-level heel team that are the lackeys for EC3, seeing as the only gimmick I can see Tino playing is basically what EC3 is already.  Hoping the teased breakups are just how EC3 lures them in and gets them on the same page.  Then again, what do I know?  Last time I thought they needed to keep a team together was when they broke up Jason Jordan and Tye Dillinger early on and that worked out better for that duo in the long run.

That thought never even crossed my mind, but that would be great for them. I don't care about either one of those guys, but to be EC3's Miztourage would be a great fit for them. Both the singles and tag divisions are stacked right now, so finding room for them in either would be an issue. At least doing that, they could get on TV and work on their characters.

I don't like this Dakota Kai is scared of Shayna Bazler thing. I mean, unless it has a payoff where Dakota flips her shit and ambushes Shayna with a chair or something. But pissing her self like a scolded dog  is something a heel normally does, not a face. It's almost the Brock/Seth feud but with the NXT ladies.

MAYBE it was a peak into the plans when she told Vanessa Borne she wasn't scared of Borne.

I just can't see a wrestling promotor featuring a marketable babyface with the gimmick of being weak and scared unless the longterm booking plan was to build him or her up. Almost like "we fucked up with Bayley so we're going to get it right this time."

Well..the last time Kai and Baszler were in the ring together, this happened:

You can understand Dakota's PTSD.  I can totally see them building to a match in Brooklyn with Kai (aka Kiwi Bayley) getting the big win.

Yeah I get the being fucked up over a big attack.

I guess I'm too used to booking the faces as never being afraid and the heels being the fraidy cats.

FYI I'm conscious that I'm nit picking, honestly my only real complaint on NXT of late. Well... I hate that I'm just starting to come around on Almas and he moves up to be lost in the shuffle.

You can't give me The Hossening: Tag Team Edition and only have it go like four minutes!  Hanson looks like Otis' Nordic ancestor.

NXT is fucking great all around right now.  This week's episode was top notch from beginning to end.  Can't wait for Dream and Ricochet's barn burner at Takeover.

This week's episode was probably the best one in..geez...at least a year.  Everything is just firing on all cylinders and even the shit-ass Full Sail crowd is reverting back into their tolerable 2014-15 selves and is actually reacting to shit instead of trying to get themselves over (well..mostly).  Ricochet/Dream at Takeover is a sleeper MOTYC in the making.

If it's a MOTYC I think it'll be because of Ricochet. I have been impressed with his character and charisma but have only been into certain matches of his where he's being carried by the other person (IE. Aleister Black). But the presence of Ricochet in this will make it very very good and Dream has proven he can be lead by a good worker.

That Dream/Ricochet bit was fantastic and really got me hyped for a 15-20 minute match between the 2. Dream is so talented and has pro wrestling down perfectly. He totally gets everything about it, and should have won Tough Enough.

Well, to be honest, you'd think it's a given that the 23 year old 3 1/2 year vet would be carried in most of his matches.  His match with Ohno wasn't great because he was going too fast and trying too much along with Ohno having a bad night.

That was one of his very few off matches. It ended much better than it began, but it was really choppy to start. A few missed spots by both guys. All his other big matches have been very good, and his work with Black was just amazing. Whoever wrote that story should be in charge of WWE's entire TV work because it was so perfectly done.

Just getting around to this week's show.  Does anyone else think we are getting a Kassius Ohno heel turn?  I know part of the reason he isn't used a lot is he is more player/coach than talent but they put so much emphasis on his "devastating losses".  They are too loaded on the babyface side and even some of the top heels are guys the crowd really wants to cheer.

She's still green, but she's got a ton of potential. She's got a fleshed out character, she's athletic as hell, and she stands out. She's only been training for a short time, but they've got something in her. I was very impressed with her during the Mae Young Classic. I don't love the hair whip as it can be a problem with hurting people, but she's got IT.

Oney Lorcan needs orbital bone surgery.  That's a huge shame because he had carved out a great niche for himself and Burch.  You could pretty much bank on every match of his being fun because he went 100 MPH every time on offense or defense (which is probably why he needs surgery).

Ciampa is tweeting God of War gifs and using "boy" in his promos.  He's fully embracing the gimmick.

The Undisputed Era beatdown of the jobbers (started by Strong's Tiger Knee) and subsequent six-man with Moustache Mountain and Ricochet was fucking awesome.  NXT is on fire right now.

Trying to remember this is supposed to be developmental but I'm very cold on Kona Reeves.

And as of right now no one on the roster in the women's division strikes me as a threat to Bazler. Cross was my best bet and maybe it'll take more than one match to get there, but currently: nope.

I'd argue that Kari Sane has been underutilized for awhile and has been a threat to her though since she beat her in the Mae Young Classic last year. So good to see them finally jump on the program

Anyway, hell of a main event on the most recent show. I was a bit surprised they already had Ricochet do a job in a random thrown together match like that, but it is what it is.

The tease of Cole/Ricochet got me hoping we see this at Takeover Brooklyn though.
