They built a Hooters a few blocks from my high school a few years ago so you better believe they rake in tons of business from horny teenagers and kids who think they're cool for dining there. I'm sure the girls milk them for all they're worth too.

I personally never had a problem with the place. Not my first choice no but if it's nearby and I'm craving wings, why not?

I've always liked the fried bar food at Buffalo Wild Wings better than Hooters. Plus all the waitresses at my local one are hot and wear tight yoga pants.
Besides if I want a breastaraunt I'll go to Twin Peaks and see more
I watched RAW. I thought it sucked. The usual problems and such.

I live in a town where dental hygiene is apparently optional so I can honestly say I visit Hooters for the wings. And even if they had attractive waitresses, what then?

In '06 I went to my sister's boot camp graduation. There was a Hooters down the block from my hotel. I went walk down there, tripped and scraped my knee. When I returned to my room I called the then girlfriend and told her about it, laughing.

Her demeanor got really cold, "Well, that's what you get for going to that STRIP CLUB!" Tried explaining to deaf ears that this was not the case. *shrug* Some people are stupid.

I love it when people tell stories about Hooters and say "The waitress was totally into me. I mean I know they flirt with guys for tips and stuff, but this was different dude. She wanted me."
I had a friend that tried that but everything he told me: telling him that he was cute, playing with his wristband, etc. sounded like classic tip grabbing.

Come to think of it I had a friend that used to go to strip clubs alone and play pool. He'd then claim that they wanted him because he wasn't like the other guys. He wasn't there to watch them get naked, he was just there to play pool.

I have some friends that need girlfriends apparently.

I haven't been to Hooters in years.  I remember when the first one in my city opened, it happened to be right by my house.  It was all right, typical fried bar food type stuff.  The main reason I would go is because it was the first place in town that started showing UFC PPVs for free.  Once a Buffalo Wild Wings opened right across the street a year after, and also showed them for free, I felt they were the much better option.

We went to Baltimore years ago for a conference when I was in college, and one girl in our group who was particularly well-endowed decided she wanted to walk by Hooters, just to see what the fuss was about.  As she got to the door, the guys waiting to come in started catcalling her, asking her when her shift started and what her name was so they could get her table.  Then she came back to the group all pissed off about it.  Even her best friend was saying, "Honey, what did you expect at a place called Hooters?"

Both Hooters and it's cousin the Tilted Kilt shut down in Green Bay the past year or two.

I'd imagine a place that half the populace doesn't really care to go to can't help business.

We had a Twin Peaks last right around 18 months here. It's the same thing, more fork/knife food but a lumberjack motif. Clothes are a bit more risque, but nothing horrifying. When the oil shit went bust last year all the workers had less disposable income to go over there. Every time I'd pass there would be four cop cars in the parking lot. Seems the guys would get drunk and grope the girls on the regular at Twin Peaks, but not at Hooters. I also found out they were busing the girls in from New Orleans, whereas Hooters was actually hiring locals (which explains a lot).

As far as Hooters WINGS vs Buffalo Wild Wings/WOW/Wing Stop/etc... Dollar for dollar I've found I get more for my money in a Hooters wing order than the other places. Also I'm sitting on a stack of "10 free wings with purchase of 20" coupons I one of their employees gifted me at an event. They let me mix and match so I can get 10 3 hotter end wings and 20 milder wings. Plus lunch for the next day.
