Maybe that's just the most popular PornHub search in your area?

On this week's episode of Championship Wrestling from Arizona they replayed the United Wrestling Tag Title match between Classic Connection vs Reno Scum (c) and it's worth watching. It was such a great match.

Like is he actually laying into people in a worked-shoot way? Did he get Sullivan to agree to that or did he seriously just whack someone in the head with a baseball bat again?
I watched RAW. I thought it sucked. The usual problems and such.

On Championship Wrestling from Hollywood earlier this week I saw a new tag team. They showed up on Championship Wrestling from Arizona this week as well. They are called Nueve Vidas (Nine Lives). They are a cat gimmick tag team, and their names are PentaGato, Jr. and Rey Felix. I'm loving this team so much right now.

Kevin Sullivan is a senior citizen and maybe sometimes, common sense should win out.

Common sense says you don't start a career where physical injury is a part of life despite it being a work. Common sense says not to drag a razor through your skin or to jump through furniture.

Wrestling is inherently risky. I get that. I’m sure to some people, that’s part of the appeal. But hitting a senior citizen with a chair so hard you do that is stupid for a few reasons.

I don't know how many PWG connoisseur's we have here, but I have a question if anyone can answer it. I may have asked it before, but I'm not sure I remember the answer.

When did PWG get good? I have the Highspots network. They don't have every single PWG show ever, but they have most (just missing those from the beginning and they're a year behind on releasing new ones obviously because of the DVD sales) of the shows.

I tried to go back and watch some of the old ones where they were in the Jewish Rec Center (I think that's where it was) with the green floor. The matches were technically good (well most of them) but I've learned, especially from 205 Live, that I can't get into a good match if the crowd is silent. Since these are the early shows there's only like 40 people in the crowd so things aren't very loud. So I struggle to get into the matches.

When did things start getting good? Someone told me I needed to seek out the first All-Star Weekend and the Chris Hero & Candice LeRae vs. Human Tornado feud.
I watched RAW. I thought it sucked. The usual problems and such.

I just started up the very first show the Young Bucks were ever on. Looks like the main is a 4-way between Steen, Generico, Danielson and Davey Richards.

I'm sure the guys in the prelims are decent or good but it's hard for me to watch when I have no clue who they are and know they aren't really anything today either. I really like watching the guys that are stars today because I love seeing people early in their career and where they came from.  (in a lot of cases it wasn't early in their career, but pre-wwe)

The end of 2005 is when things start really picking up, namely the Steen/Dragon feud. Other things notable include the rise of Davey Richards, Chris Bosh growing into his schtick, and Human Tornado's balls of steel.

Best of the West, a company out of California, and can be found on Fite and YouTube, and now Twitch, posted their 2 Year Anniversary show on Amazon Prime. James Storm and Eli Drake worked the show, in separate matches. It's a really solid show, but watch it for the 5 way ladder match and the Tag Team match. The tag team match is a stand out on the show, it's the second match of card, and features Midnight Marvels (Damian Drake and Spyder Warrior) taking on Owen Travers and Chris Bey. Bey is big in Championship Wrestling from Hollywood/Arizona and Future Stars of Wrestling. Damian Drake works FSW and West Coast Wrestling Connection. It's a really good match and worth checking out.

I'm happy for them. They announced it on their Facebook earlier in the week (or late last week, it runs together for me at times). They're here in NY on a public access channel at midnight Saturday (into Sunday).

If anyone is interested in checking out a fantastic company, Future Stars of Wrestling out of Vegas is having their 9th anniversary show tomorrow. They will be airing it live on Twitch, starting at 7pm Vegas time. It's a fantastic company, and for those that remember PPW, many of the same talent work there including the FSW Heavyweight Champion Hammerstone. It's going to be a great show.

I watching MLW. For some reason I got a very "WCW/early TNA" vibe from their videos. Maybe not those promotions but something about the presentation screamed "circa 1999-2002" to me.

I can see that. It's very much a WRESTLING product, though, and not even in the throwback sense that CWFH is. At least their production values have always been high, and goddamn that logo is swanky.

The matches have been solid since the debut on beIN. The stories, eh. Pentagon beat Fenix to get the #1 contender spot against Shane Strickland. The next week, he spits mist in Strickland's face, so he's forced into another #1 contender match...against Fenix again, and beats him, again.

Episode 6 was a solid show, love the tease of Janela/Friedman and I don't even like Janela once the bell rings. There's a lot that the show is doing right. Shane Strickland is a talent too many people have slept on because he isn't as flashy as others of his generation, but he offers a very solid performance every time he's out there. The fire in his body language when he's on offense, his facial expressions when he's selling, and the general "over-confident superstar" schtick is done so well that I can ignore his bargain bin ring gear.

Also, where the hell did Salina de la Renta come from? She's only gotten better with each episode.

Maybe the real deep state was the friends we made along the way.

Is anyone watching Championship Wrestling from Hollywood on NESN? I have been a viewer of different cycles of this company for years. Started by watching them online years ago, started attending the free tapings during summers I was in Los Angeles before 2014, and then it came on a random sports channel on my dish for awhile (name escapes me but it had many a 6 month run on there) and then now its back on the dish late nights on NESN.

The first ep I saw was somewhat impressive for the company as it was the first televised wrestling show from China that's ever been done. The crowd was weak in both size and response, but to be expected when most of these guys were literal no-names to the crowd. The work was ok but indieriffic for sure....Barbi Hayden vs Heather Monroe was pretty messy, a tag with Reno Scum was better, and then they did a main of Aldis vs Cabana for the NWA title that was actually very good.

Then this past week they were back in Cali for a pretty substandard but wacky when stoned stuff. That is what CWFH kinda represents to me....maybe 75 percent of really super green guys in strange and goofy gimmicks mixed with talent that are clearly gearing up or are already ready to get more of a mainstream look. The main was Uptown Andy Brown vs Tyler Bateman which ended up being a really good match, so good PWG gave them a shot to open their last show when they had to make some changes with other talent not making it.

I love CWFH, and Arizona. A few of my buddies work for both, Royce Issacs, Suede Thompson, and Chris Bey (who is freaking fantastic). It's a fun show with some great talent.

Andy Brown vs Bateman was so good. A while back Bateman had a match with Scorpio Sky that was fantastic. Also, from about 2 months back Watts vs Bad Dude Tito was a great big man match.

Yeah I havent seen much of this Bad Dude Tito but I can tell he's over with the Hollywood crowd for sure.

Not much to the most recent show but the main of Willie Mack and Ray Rosas was pretty damn good stuff. I'm not completely feeling the Mack heel turn though as I am just not buying him as a heel at all, at least under this gimmick. Maybe in time it will get better but he's just always gonna be a face to me since he's got that underdog persona to him perfectly.

So Dave Marquez's son is a heel manager too? Wow

They had a really good run as a tag team in championship wrestling from Hollywood to that was a period of time that the booking was really strong on the show and they were getting really over because of it. I think Avalon is still with this company too but I haven't seen him work a match yet since I started watching again but I'm seeing him in highlight clips and whatnot

He's been working a lot with Championship Wrestling from Arizona more than Hollywood right now. He teased a re-team with Ray a few months back before turning on him and heading to Arizona. He was sent there by the Office to get things straightened up down there.

I went to my local indy for the first time last Friday. La Crosse WI's River City Championship Wrestling. Their usual monthly cards are at the American Legion hall and, if that card was any indication, it's often a nice full room. It was a good mix of modern looks and storytelling with the old territory ambience.

I had a vendor table set up with my vintage magazines and memorabilia and whatnot. Hardcore Holly was the outside star brought in for the show. Nice guy. It was neat to share the table space with him so he could do autographs and pictures.

So all in all, it was a decent show. The middle rope broke during Keith Lee/Willie Mack and it kind of affected the quality of the match. Jeff Cobb/Sami Callihan was ok and RVD/MVP was about what you'd expect from both guys at this point.
