And another fairly big deal: Detroit sends WR Golden Tate to Philadelphia for a 3rd Round Pick per Schefter

Quote
Less than 30 minutes before the trade deadline, the Rams traded for former first-round pick Dante Fowler, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. In return, the Jaguars will get a third-round pick in 2019 and a fifth-round pick in 2020, Schefter reported.

Also, Nate Pete is back in on Sunday and I'm praying we get to see Pryor (who signed) for maximum comedy.

Packers made a couple moves sending S Ha Ha Clinton-Dix to Washington for a 4th Round Pick and RB/WR Ty Montgomery to Baltimore for a 7th Round Pick.

I enjoy how quickly the Packers dispatched Montgomery.

Ha Ha is the 2nd ranked safety this year based on CBS Sports metrics.  The author of the piece openly questions if the Packers have a real intention to compete this year or not.

Curious who replaces Dix in the lineup. Kentrell Brice saw more time early in the year whereas Jermaine Whitehead's seen more time in the past couple games.

Hate the Clinton-Dix deal.

One of the local radio hosts said Dix made big plays, but blew others, so this could work out for the Pack since they weren't going to resign him anyway. The GM indicated we wouldn't be getting any compensation picks for losing Dix because Guntenkunt is planning to be active in free agency.

I'm kind of indifferent to the move as I can see the argument for getting a decent pick for a up and down player. The final 5 weeks of the season look winnable however, so taking the hit now doesn't sit well in some ways. If we miss the playoffs, the GMs going to be under big pressure to hit on his picks AND find Rodgers some players to win with. Being bold is fine as long as it pays off.

It isn't that I think Clinton-Dix is great or anything.  But the safeties beyond him are REALLY bad.  They'll probably be forced to stick old man Tramon Williams back there out of desperation.  I don't think a fourth round pick (from a possible division winner at that) is worth it unless they are punting the rest of the season.  I expect the secondary to get torched the rest of the way.

Losing him was massive. He's been the one stable asset in the secondary for years and the young corners aren't quite there yet. I can't wrap my head around this one if management had any serious aspirations for this season.

Bradford should just show up in Buffalo. When Peterman racks up 4 first half picks, they'll gladly toss a jersey Bradford's way.

WKBW's Joe Buscaglia reports the Bills could move Andre Holmes back to special teams, allowing Terrelle Pryor to play a "legitimate" offensive role on Sunday.

Buffalo should just start him at QB...

- Patriots signed DB Obi Melifonwu. He'll serve as ST depth.
- NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports Redskins RG Brandon Scherff is believed to have suffered a torn pec Week 9 against the Falcons. That would wipe him out for the rest of the year.

They have Baker Mayfield so there's gonna be a line around the damn building to go coach that guy.

My personal gut says that's where Mike McCarthy is coaching next year.
