I forgot to mention this, but I love that Fangio is out of the division.

It's crazy that he's been a DC pretty consistently since the mid 1990s. He's coached as DC under: Dom Capers (Carolina, Houston), Jim Mora (Indianapolis), John Harbaugh (Stanford, San Francisco), and John Fox with Chicago.

He also served as an assistant in Baltimore from 2006-2009.

I had to suffer watching a Zac Taylor led offense with the Bearcats that was nothing short of putrid and now because he knows Sean McVay, that means he’s going to be the new HC of the Bengals.

Arizona has added Vance Joseph as DC and longtime defensive coach Bill Davis as LB Coach. Mike Pettine is staying as DC in Green Bay while Tampa Bay hired Todd McNair as their RB Coach.

I guess Gary Kubiak almost had another mini-stroke when he heard Elway's latest plans on what trash he wants to bring in at QB and will not be the Broncos OC next season

Some OC news as Greg Roman is taking over in Baltimore (Marty Mornhinweg is out now) and Bill Lazor is out as Cincinnati's OC. Pittsburgh also hired Teryl Austin to assist in coaching their DBs.

Rap's always been more miss than hit but this is worth noting especially since it'd mean Belichick would need to make a change at DC for the 2nd straight season.

Kubiak wanted to bring back a bunch of trash coaches that the Broncos already fired a few years ago. John Elway is an idiot. Gary Kubiak is an idiot. Vic Fangio made a terrible choice leaving Chicago for that perpetual trainwreck in Denver. At least he can say he got to be a head coach I guess.

Early rumblings that if Flores takes the Miami Dolphins job that Greg Schiano could be in the mix for Patriots DC and Patrick Graham, currently with the Packers, could join Flores as his DC.

Arizona, Cleveland, and Tampa Bay have started filling out their staffs. Arizona kept Steve Heiden on as TE Coach and got Sean Kugler as OL Coach from the Denver Broncos (a coach who was in high demand). Cleveland has added Todd Monken and Steve Wilks as OC/DC but also hired Stump Mitchell as RB Coach (great hire longtime RB Coach in the NFL).

I'm enjoying all the Adam Gase videos and clips. He seems slightly unhinged. Perfect hire.

Looks like a trustworthy guy. I like him.

Also, he hired Gregg Williams as DC.

Antwaan Randle El's accepted a position on the Tampa Bay staff. Ed Donatell returns to the Denver Broncos (1995-1999, 2009-2010) as their new DC while John DeFilippo will be the new OC in Jacksonville.

Detroit Lions hired Darrell Bevell as their new OC. He definitely has the strong run game pedigree and helped Russell Wilson to several seasons of 20+ TD Passes and 3,500+ Passing Yards.

Sounds like Matt Patricia ideally wants to follow a similar blueprint to the Seattle Seahawks of the early 2010s with a bit more of a reliance on week to week preparation.

Steve Spagnuolo looks like the favorite for the Chiefs DC job while it appears very likely that Greg Schiano lands a spot on the Patriots staff somewhere (not a surprise at all given Belichick's love of drafting Rutgers dudes) & there were rumors last year Schiano could land a gig.

49ers have hired Wes Welker as their new WR Coach. Flores also added AQB Coach Jerry Schuplinski from the Patriots. There were some rumblings that Schuplinski could have been promoted within the Patriots organization if McDaniels moved on so they clearly thought highly of him as well.

Mark Ingram is the most noteworthy Saints free agent (on a list of 25). He's gone on record to say he wants to remain in New Orleans but....it's professional sports.
