What a ridiculously close final. Way too close for comfort. Good luck Steak!

Congrats Steak! Those moves you made during the halfway point really paid off. I’m going to learn from that.

Title #5 has come home!

Thanks OG, that final was too close for comfort all the way. I assumed when you picked up Anibal Sanchez and I kept losing players like Kolten Wong, that you had it won.

What a season this was, my team was damn near last place after April and Jose Ramirez was trying real hard to be the worst player ever. Fortunately a couple trades and a little luck paid off in the end.

Title number 5 and probably the hardest one to win.

I need to decide who to keep and will post them at a later date.

My offence just dried up. Think that doomed me. Mookie Betts vanishing act the past few weeks was killer.

Also, still deciding keepers. Will post later.

Congrats Steak on the 9‐2 win over O.G.

Steak actually completed the CXF Keeper League triple crown this year by winning Football, Basketball, and Baseball all in the same calendar year. Crazy shit.

909 defeated Treble 6-5 for the Consolation Prize.

Feel free to start posting keepers whenever. I definitely have some hard decisions to make for my keepers. I'll probably have some people available that can be traded for.

JMorr let me know that he won't be returning next season. So we'll have at least 1 team opening.

KRANKOR'S KEEPERS
Nolan Arenado, 3b (Round 1 - Year 6)
George Springer, OF (Round 1 - Year 6)
Anthony Rizzo, 1b (Round 1 - Year Eight)
Shane Bieber, SP (Round 3 - Year 1)
Francisco Lindor, SS (Round 7 - Year 6)
Aaron Judge, OF (Round 20 ‐ Year 3)
Gleyber Torres, 2b/SS (Round 20 - Year 3)
+1 More To Be Named Later

Players that may interest teams to trade for. I'm mainly looking for draft picks. I'd listen for offers for Rizzo also even though he's currently listed in my keepers.
1b/OF Rhys Hoskins (Round 20 - Year 3)
1b/3b/OF Hunter Dozier (Rd 20 - Year 1)
OF Giancarlo Stanton (Round 1 - Year 10)
OF Aristedes Aquino (Round 20 - Year 1)
SP Jose Berrios (Round 2 - Year 1)
SP Luis Castillo (Round 4 - Year 1) Cmp Rd
SP Zac Gallen (Round 20 - Year 1)

Also, I'm probably going to offer up the open teams for replacement managers soon. Its good if replacement managers can take part in offseason moves.

I’ll need a little more time to select my keepers. I’m bummed that jmorr left seeing as he was a fellow first timer this year. I’ll be sticking around for sure.

I haven't been able to spend as much time as I'd like on my fantasy teams, so I think I'm going to pull out of this league. It was fun while it lasted. Good luck to everyone!

I have been tossing the idea around for a while, but I think it's time to change up our keeper format. We did it in Football this season and I think it was a success. I was considering giving our old format 1 last year, but with already 3 confirmed open teams for next year and a couple more I'm anticipating, now is the time for change. I don't want to bring in a group of new managers then instantly swap up the format on them a year later. Kind of doing the same thing to Dirt & Scooter, but hopefully they will not mind.

New Keeper Format:
*8 Keepers
*Draft is 10 Rounds
*Final roster spots filled via post-draft waivers
*Every team has a pick in each round.
*If keeping less than the 8 maximum, a team will receive a pick in the compensatory round for every empty keeper slot.
*Compensatory Round will take place following Round 1. It will be slotted in the similar fashion to how we slotted the Football Comp Round

Simple. Easy. To the point.

Gone are the round values. New format is straight forward. Everyone knows what they have in terms of future draft picks. It really should open up a lot better trading options for rebuilding teams and playoff teams. The change will somewhat get rid of the tactic of trading high priced / expensive players for cheap players. Now you will be wanting to keep your best players. I think that will ultimately be a blessing so we don't keep subpar players simply because of a cost.

2020 Settings:
16 Teams - H2H
Daily - Tomorrow
Free Agent roster moves per week 3
Minimum Innings Pitched: 32.0

Stat Categories:
R, HR, RBI, SB, OBP, SLG
QS, SV, HLD, K, ERA, WHIP

Rosters:
21 Total Active Spots
Hitting: C, 1b, 2b, 3b, SS, OF, OF OF, Utility
Pitching: SP, SP, SP, RP, RP, P, P
Other: BN, BN, BN, BN, BN, NA, NA, DL, DL, DL

I'll probably be contacting everyone directing them to this post to gauge the league's response.

I'll be back and looks good to me. I like the concept of 8 Keepers, no complexity trying to figure out whether to keep Player A at a Round 6 cost against Player B, who's slightly worse, because they are a Round 15 cost and "cheaper" as a result.

Bumping this since people are currently thinking of their keepers.

Players that may interest teams to trade for. I'm mainly looking for draft picks. I'd listen for offers for 1b Anthony Rizzo also even though he's currently listed in my keepers.

TRADE BLOCK
1b Rhys Hoskins
1b/3b/OF Hunter Dozier
OF Giancarlo Stanton
OF Aristedes Aquino
SP Jose Berrios
SP Luis Castillo
