I am love, love, loving how the league's response to the Rockets complaining about the officiating in Game 1 is to assign Scott Foster to Game 2.

Yeah, I have a feeling that the NBA is going to continue handing the Rockets the worst possible refs to them.

It's the two most unlikable teams in the league, so I don't care either way.

I guess because of Draymond and Durant has shown himself to be a thin-skinned whiner at times.

Because Durant and Curry are fucking bitches. Because Draymond's fake Rick Mahorn tough guy act would get him wrecked if he tried that shit in another era.

I care either way: I find one team rather more unlikable than the other. Also, one of those teams added a player I like in the offseason. And said player happens to be polarizing in a way that his most vocal critics will simultaneously declare that they didn't need him, if they win, but also get their lives to them losing, and blame him for disrupting their chemistry, or whatever.

Despite the fact that he's injured (meaning that they, in fact, didn't need him), I'm still rooting for the Warriors, because I don't want the year that he's on the team to be the year they don't win. If it weren't for Cousins, I'd be rooting for a Denver/Milwaukee final.

Possibly going to be a massive amount of players suspended for leaving the bench in this Denver-Portland game.

Probably in a different sense. If you're a Celtics, Pistons, Knicks, Pacers, etc. fan I doubt you would be "loving" them in the same way fans of teams in the Western Conference, band wagoners, and foreigners did. Just seems like it's more hatred than any other team with all the stuff you can find online and interact with other fans now.

I think that's the real rub here. Due to the ineptitude of the large market Eastern Conference teams, a lot of fans of the league now are of Western Conference teams even though there are more people in the East. The West is simply the more popular conference with better basketball. People fucking hate the Warriors because of that.

It’s more of the warriors suburban culture that people hate, the entitled rich kids attitude that people hate about them, they are professional basketball version of Duke.

Well with that blatant elbow to Lowry's nuts, Simmons just earned himself a suspension. Hope it was worth it.

Was thinking it did not look good for the Celtics losing that last one at home but they are dead after this.  May as well end the series now.  Kyrie is another one that is talented but the Celtics are better without him.  So he will leave and probably have the same result somewhere else which at this point, whatever.  Guessing some team overpays guys like Marcus Morris and the Celtics have to start over again next year.

Watch Kyrie hook back up with LeBron after this. I totally can see that happening now.

Also, can't wait to watch the Raptors vs the Bucks. That series looks like it'll be fun. And yes, I think the Raptors will beat the 76ers.

I don’t know if Kyrie gets back with Lebron.  In his head, he still sees himself as the leader but he’s proven himself to be another “gotta get mine”.  Super talented but he will be in some place like Brooklyn where he can lead them to the 7-seed as an All-Star before they get eliminated in the first round.

Disappointing because there was that potential before he got hurt last year but think he ended up getting a chip on his shoulder with the team performing so well without him.  Even though it is said they are buddies, Tatum was off this year when Kyrie was around and did his best when Kyrie was out.

Turns out it’s just a calf strain, but he’s out for the game, which could still set up the Rockets to end it at home

I don't believe the news of a calf strain at all. I've seen too many players in too many sports get hurt the exact same way. At best it's a strained Achilles.

Yeah, that looked like an Achilles type of injury, not calf. That's not good at all. :(

Per ESPN, KD has a mild calf strain. He'll miss the rest of the Houston series, and will be reevaluated next week.

Very lucky for him.

It's easier to win a game when you've had the player for half the game than it will be to win two games without him.

KD dodged a bullet, but yeah. I bet he's done for the probably this series and maybe the Western Conference finals. I don't think he comes back until maybe the Finals. Even then, he could still not make it back for the rest of the season.

Jimmy Buckets is bringing it in this series. I really don't know who would win a game 7 between Toronto and Philadelphia.

Portland-Denver is truly a back and forth series where anything goes.

Philly-Toronto has mostly been dominant home team.  Been expecting Toronto to win.  I think Philly has a more stacked roster but think they are much less mature.

LOL, Rockets.

Houston talked all that shit. ALL THAT SHIT. They and their fans have been talking cash shit for a year. They were feeling themselves sooo much when they won the regular season series. And, when Durant went down, you know they thought they had it wrapped up. Now what? NOW WHAT?!

I'm only disappointed that this game was on ESPN instead of TNT, thereby denying us of the opportunity to hear Charles Barkley derisively announce that Hakeem Olajuwon is rolling over in his grave.
