Let's hope he's rusty or we might really regret letting that Game 2 get away.

Holy crap what a choke job by the Raptors.  If they lose this series... has to be one the biggest chokes in a close out game

Yeah I couldn't believe that.

I don't see the Warriors making the big comeback but if they do I would not want to be Lowry.

Lowry's shot was blocked/deflected by Draymond. Not his fault. Was a badly run play at the end but Nurse's timeout will be the deciding point if the Warriors come back to win. Don't know what he was thinking.

It's amazing how crippled Cousins looks. Kerr should really just go with Bogut as long as possible until he runs out of gas. At least Bogut makes the right pass and doesn't shoot unless he absolutely has to. Cousins is just terrible, breaks my heart to see cause I used to be a massive fan.
Used to? Did you quit, because he got injured?
Nah, still a fan of him. Probably should've put "massive fan of his game" which I hope one day can recover.

So... Who else is calling bullshit on the Warriors' GM for saying that every medical staff said it wasn't an Achilles injury. Durant did the exact same thing as last time.

Edit: As an aside, since I'm up from pain, but fuck the crowd. I was horrified the moment I saw he was injured. The audience should've been a fucking collective gasp, not a God damned cheer of "hurray, we can't fuck this up now" (which they then did).

So apparently the Jurassic Park of Toronto decided to do a "Fuck KD" chant, even after the fact that everyone knew KD was hurt. So it wasn't just the crowd in the arena either. So so, dumb.

God dammit Toronto.

Officially a ruptured Achilles for Durant.  Had his surgery today, haven't seen a timetable as of yet but safe to say next season for all intents and purposes is lost

Yeah, that's a 12 month injury. In theory he could play in a game 6 or 7 of a finals but a team without him would never get there.

He's also still going to get the full max, so the team that gets him is paying a huge premium for a player who can't play to have him on their team in 2020-21. The Nets would sure as hell give it to him.

Here's hoping Durant can come back to being his old self. Though, I'm betting that the Warriors are going to lose to the Raptors. Regardless of how much the fans just probably fueled the Warriors ire.

David Stern wouldn't have let the Raps win.

I'm upset they didn't wear their throwbacks during this run. It was their best jersey.

Klay tore his ACL, probably out all next season too. His game is reliant on great health and his greatest strength is being an athletic defender. I would not give him a max contract.

With Durant and Klay missing most if not all of next season, you're going to see a lot of teams suddenly get very aggressive in the offseason, since a lot of one year windows just opened up.

Especially since doing that just paid off huge for Toronto.

I feel like I'm ready to put Kawhi up there pretty high historically even though he's two weeks away from turning 28 years old and outside of all defensive team selections he doesn't have much of the regular season accolades the other greats have.

But preventing two teams from a 3peat, potentially ending two dynasties (three if you wanna count what's going to happen to the Spurs), and this https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/26969557/kawhi-1st-win-finals-mvp-conferences all while bringing a team it's 1st title that had a perception of being comical chokers...

Top 50 easily imo at this point.

How is this dude acting like the 2014 Spurs didn't exist? Or the 2007 or 2005 Spurs, for that matter? Or even the 2011 Mavericks? And all of the unironic replies in the mentions from #MapleLeafTwitter? Yo, Kahran, can you come get your people, man?

Also, I'm not a hundred percent sure that he didn't count Serge Ibaka twice.

Toronto is just crazy today with the mass of humanity.  The parade was supposed to be over hours ago, but it has had to stop dead at various points.  This completely dwarfs the turnout in 92-93.  I've never seen anything like it.
