It's funny how Cartman has been so good that he's totally unfamiliar with how we do the consolation bracket.

I'm fucked, looks like another early playoff exit. My season was over when Stafford went down.

That's a great point, I can't remember the last time I missed the playoffs, if ever?

I don't think you have missed since being in. You've been consistently good for a damn long time.

Meanwhile I have been so shitty that I can't remember the last time I had a season contending for a division, let alone be in the playoffs.

You were the #1 seed going into the playoffs 2 years ago Flik.

I did some digging. Going back to 2010, Cartman has never missed the playoffs until this 2019 season. In 10 seasons, he has 9 playoff appearances and 5 championships. That alone would be impressive in any league, but more impressive because this league is freaking hard!

My luck ran out! It's going to be really difficult to re-build now, It's not too hard being a frontrunner when you luck into a good crop of young talent from the beginning. I have really only had Drew Brees at QB since the start, missed out on any of the good ones after that with having low draft picks all the time. Now that Brees is nearing the end, and AB losing his mind.

Yeah, but I've played so damn poorly every other time I literally forgot this.

Also, holy shit Cartman, you are insane. I didn't realize all 5 of your championships came during that span. Geezus, you've been nailing it for so long.

...though it now looks like maybe Broward's going to be our next dynasty person.

CHAMPIONSHIP
#1 Broward 138.08 vs #8 O.G. 147.16
#2 Flik 139.00 vs #7 Kotz 116.30
#3 Krankor 109.70 vs #6 Hawk 154.48
#4 Steak 162.42vs #5 Chewbie 136.56

CONSOLATION
#9 909 188.76 vs # 16 St Gabe 91.26
#10 OneTrickPony 138.56 vs #15 BlackFlagg 106.12
#11 Harley 131.26 vs #14 Cartman 181.56
#12 Will Scarlet 133.84 vs #13 Linx 111.20

Not Final: Kotz (Elliott), Steak (Wentz Graham), OneTrick (shep eli), Linx (ogletree), Gabe (howard ert, jeffrey tate), 909 (cox)

Remember for consolation, it doesn't show up on yahoo. I tabulate your starting lineup and post the totals here.

In my original matchups, I had a few of the seedings wrong. So I updated them. Bolded teams are projected winners. Still some points left to be decided but it appears every matchup is basically over.

I updated the end of regular season standings as well. I think there was a stat correction in the OneTrick/Linx matchup in Week 13 that threw things off.

I'm just going to go ahead and post my keepers now because I pretty much already know them. I'll post the official deadline later on, but it will be the Monday AFTER the NFL Draft.

Krankor's Keepers
QB Russell Wilson
QB Sam Darnold
RB Dalvin Cook
RB Leonard Fournette
WR Chris Godwin
RB Miles Sanders

It's BLACK Tuesday for the keeper league. Kind of.

BlackFlagg/CletusVanDamme will not be back next year. He's getting the big boot due to lack of general roster caretaking. I'm not going to criticize starting bad players, but the basic lack of attempting to manage a roster week to week I will. Injuries happen in the NFL and bye weeks happen. Gotta make moves. I waited until the end of the first week of the consolation playoffs just incase this was a season long tank job with a championship bracket level team for some reason. It wasn't.

MFer will be rejoining the league and taking over this squad for next year. Welcome back MFer.

I'll use a spoiler tag to point out the week to week festering of that team.

Spoiler: Week by Week Breakdown • show

Week 1: Lost by 2.14 points to Linx. Left both DL spots empty, and 1 LB empty. Had 2 LB options on the bench and 1 DL option. Should have been a win.
Potential Record: 1-0

Week 2: Won by 14.5 points over OneTrickPony. 2 DL & 1 LB spots still left empty. Also left a hurt DB in the lineup.
Potential Record 2-0

Week 3: Lost by 6.92 points to Hawk. All roster spots finally filled.
Potential Record 2-1

Week 4: Lost to Linx by 13.82 points. Saquon injured the week before didn't play. LB on bye. Had a LB score 6.5 points on the bench. Putting a claim in for Gallman to replace Saquon would have netted another 24.8 pts. Even missing on Gallman and finding another 7 point RB should have been doable. Gallman went for $100 in Faab. More than he had due to not completing the basic preseason tasks to gain bonuses.
Potential Record 3-1

Week 5: Won by 35.3 over OneTrickPony. Still did not address replacing the injured Barkely.
Potential Record 4-1

Week 6: Lost by 42.18 to Chewbie. Hurt Barkely still in the lineup. Probably still would have been a loss.
Potential Record 4-2

Week 7: Lost by 83.46 to Cartman. Barkely finally healthy. DB, 2 DL, & LB on bye. Mahomes & Ryan both hurt this week. Would have been a loss regardless.
Potential Record 4-3

Week 8: Lost by 9.92 to Steak. Mahomes was moved to the bench. Matt Ryan dnp at QB. Thielen started when listed as out. DB Randall also missed due to a leg. Had an 8.5 pt DB on the bench. Schaub was a FA and not picked up by anyone. Matt Moore also cleared weekly waivers unadded until Thursday. Schaub scored 26.4 pts for no one. Moore 22.98. You would think 2 hurt QBs would necessitate a waiver claim. Should have been a win.
Potential Record: 5-3

Week 9: Won by 16.82 over Will. Had he claimed Moore he could have started at QB. Ryan on bye. Mixon on bye. Thielen still out. DB Randall out. LB on IR. Somehow won with no management.
Potential Record: 6-3

Week 10: Lost by 68.28 to Krankor. Missed on Mahomes 39.84 on his IR. Thielen, Corey Davis, LB Alexander all out but in the starting lineup. Mahomes alone would have got him within 29 points. It could have been possible to make those up through the 3 spots recording 0s. I'm going to keep this as a loss, but legit could have potentially been a W.
Potential Record: 6-4

Week 11: Lost by 29.22 to Gabe. Thielen still out. Kicker on bye. Finally have Kwon Alexander out of the lineup. Matt Ryan left on bench. Lost 21.44 points there. Get a kicker off the wire, could have been a win.
Potential Record: 7-4

Week 12: Lost by 57.62 to Harley. Bye: Mahomes, Thielen, Henry, DB, LB. Barkley & Ryan on the bench. Probably would have lost but no effort to try given. Harley didnt exactly put up a massive total score so this could have been a win.
Potential Record: 7-5

Week 13: Lost by 41.92 to Hawk. Again this would have been close. Had 36 points between Ryan & Barkely on the bench. Dead Thielen and old man Gore in the lineup.
Potential Record: 7-6

Easily could have been a 2 or 3 loss team. But it wound up in the consolation bracket.

Consolation Round: Lost by 58.06 to OneTrickPony. No Thielen, Ryan & Barkely on the bench losing 36 pts right off the top. The total points scored if inserting those 2 players would have beat 5 out of the 8 championship bracket teams.

Big time missed opportunity by that squad. Not to mention the shack up of the missed wins that team caused. MFer is inheriting a good starting point for his return to the league.
