Such drama from Richard Sherman over Baker running off after the coin toss. Slow news day or start of a SEETHING BITTER RIVALRY?

Sherman is already getting ready to apologize, guess it was a slow news day.

We could end up having a dog fight for the #1 pick by year's end between Arizona, Washington, Miami, Jets, and Cincinnati. Other dark horses could be Denver and Atlanta.

That's pretty fucked up. Doyle was getting up and decided not to get up when he saw Burfict run towards him, which meant that Burfict couldn't hit him in the chest.

Dudes who beat their kids get less of a suspension or none at all.

Well there's no situation in football where a player needs to barrel full speed at a player sitting on the ground, and lunge at him head first. If this was a first offense, he would get a fine and that's it, but he's a fucking piece of shit and deserves this treatment.

The second point is valid though.

The Giants with all their offensive weapons out should mean a blowout, but they're gonna play in the middle of a Nor'Easter with heavy rain and wind, so I can see a pretty low scoring game tonight.

I expect Sony Michel to be featured a lot and for the Patriots to win pretty handily. The weather is gonna suck but that could mean more open area for Michel and White (as a receiver) to work. All it takes is a slip by the DB for a big play and the styles of play by Edelman and White are more favorable to that.

Seems like there won't be much rain but the wind is still pretty brisk out there so that might affect the passing and ESPECIALLY the kicking game.

Daniel Jones throws more dropped interceptions than anyone I've seen since JaMarcus Russell. It feels like it's every few plays.

This defense (and special teams) are nasty, regardless of the level of competition. The thing that's impressed me the most is just how opportunistic they are about turnovers and that it's INTs, Fumbles, ST blocked kicks, etc. More than I remember the 2003/2004 teams even, this defense is all about swarming defenders and getting the ball back for the offense or even scoring TDs themselves. It's really impressive to watch if you're a fan of defensive football.

The offense again struggled to really get going until the late 2nd Half, which is a big concern. Newhouse continues to struggle at LT and Karras' low snaps remain a problem at times. One bright spot was Jakobi Meyers showing up and making some big catches. James White also continues to prove how important he is to the passing game as an outlet for Brady.

Patriots currently have 18 defensive turnovers in 6 games. The 2003 team had 41 by season's end and the 2004 team had 36 by season's end.

Brady's also had some awful turnovers this season, but that's mostly down to the offensive line struggles making him rush throws or make bad decisions.

I've been waiting for years for the defense to pressure the QB like they are doing and it's because they have one of the best secondaries in the league right now (and probably the best corner in the league in Gilmore).

Two idiotic plays in KC/HOU.  First Watson throws a stupid pass that gets picked and then for some reason Mahomes goes to pass instead of killing the clock and fumbles, leading to Houston taking the lead.

KCs defense can't tackle for shit.  They were also on the field for like 75 plays.  All the Mahomes bullshit he can pull out won't fix that.

So is PI not automatically challenged within the last two minutes?  That's two PI calls against the Jets that might have needed another look.

I think there's been a flag after every play on this drive.

You're going to see fewer and fewer challenges on PI. They aren't overturning any of them, even the incredibly obvious ones, so coaches are going to just stop asking them to be reviewed. Hell, I think that the one from last post season wouldn't have even been overturned. It was a stupid idea to even add it to the list of what can be reviewed.

Defense is so bad they can't get off the field against the #3 QB. Givers is washed up and this era of the Chargers is over.

Two of the Bills, Raiders, or Colts are gonna make the playoffs. Lol. The Raiders have also had a brutal schedule that gets much easier after they play Green Bay and Houston. If they win one of those they're in great shape.

I don't think I've ever seen each referee signal something different; one signaled TD, one signaled down at the one, one signaled fumble.

I will take tonight as the final payment on the Fail Mary mess.

I questioned the Pack not kicking the FG on 3rd down in case something went haywire.

Eagles release veteran linebacker Zach Brown due to his comments about Kirk Cousins. Well, they said it was because of his play, but surely the comments and then his play didn't help.
