A lot of teams (Packers, Vikings, Niners, Seattle) really happy right now looking at this Rams score.

It is time to find a new QB. Simple as that no other excuses this guy will never lead the team to the playoffs again.

They can't just get rid of him though.  They just gave him a mega-contract with tons of guarantees.

The kind of hate Goff gets should be going towards Carr.

That is not the case. He can be designated as a post-June 1 cut with a $2,500,000 dead money hit. It's time for him to go, he sucks. He threw for around 30 yards after halftime.

I stand corrected then.  Thank you.

Fucking snoozer of a game between the Bills and Steelers, with a grand total of 195 yards combined at halftime.   But hey, at least the Bills are winning.

And the Bills are in the playoffs and didn't even have to back in this time.

The schedule is what it is but this was supposed to be a rebuilding year and here they are in the playoffs. Amazing.

A lot of under-performing teams: Cleveland, Chicago, Philadelphia & Dallas, and yet the NFC West could see 3 teams with 9+ wins.

This might be the worst coached team ever.

I've read that Njoku, Odell, and Landry have all yelled at Kitchens during games in the last several weeks. What a circus.

What did they really expect when they hired him?  They finally get a team with talent on offense and then hire a guy with no meaningful coaching experience.  It should come as no surprise that this season turned into a dumpster fire.

Man, am I glad Nick Saban liked Daunte Culpepper and their doctor didn't trust Drew's shoulder.

Kinda irritated they signed Janoris Jenkins, it hasn't been released who's getting cut to make room, but Apple isn't having that good of a year (career) so something needs to be done.

Probably Gordon simply because he was able to get onto NFL teams, 2 of which were perennial Super Bowl contenders every year, even after his initial struggles and still couldn't stay active while playing parts of several seasons.

Josh Gordon was the one who squandered more simply but his demons just prevented him from ever doing that more.

9 games now I think; I think cbs fucked up the INT stat now I gotta check this for sure
9 games if we include the one game that he really didn't do much. And yes, CBS got the interceptions wrong. He's only an interception more than Russell Wilson over that same period. Everything else is actually correct.

Really wonder if the Dolphins are just that bad as a franchise if the dude can turn around and start for the Titans and turn into a really good QB. I'm not saying he's better than anyone on that list from earlier, but he's put up enough stats there that this might not be a fluke and the Titans could've just gotten their QB for the next while.

Josh Gordon at least got paid. Blackmon didn't make shit. I would say overall that I feel more badly for him as he never received the amount of chances that Gordon did. They were about equally talented though. Blackmon came straight back not having practiced and had a 136 and 190 yard game one after the other. He was fed those yards by Blaine Gabbert. Then he got suspended again and never came back.

Now that being said, both of these guys drove drunk mad times and really don't deserve anyone's sympathy. They could have killed someone.

Quote
At Lamar, Gordon said he joined a gang, Six Deuce Harvard Park Brim Blood, which involved carrying and shooting a gun — never “maliciously,” he said — stealing cars, fighting, scamming businesses with counterfeit money, and dealing drugs

https://www.boston.com/sports/new-england-patriots/2018/09/18/josh-gordon-drugs-suspension-timeline

Try reading that and feeling sorry for him.

Before football games, Gordon said he would chug Mad Dog 20-20, flavored fortified wine, to gauge whether he could play drunk.

Slamming Mad Dog before games. That shit is like 20 minutes of being drunk then 2 hours of headache.

I always thought Blackmon had top 3 to 5 WR potential.

I'm really surprised none of these teams tried requiring these guys to take antabuse so they couldn't drink alcohol period.

After all Gordon's prior suspensions I thought he would eventually comeback. This time, no chance. He'll have to go play in the CFL or XFL if he needs more booze and weed money.

Gordon got strung along because of those suspensions during his Cleveland days on a rookie deal that whole time.

Originally signed a 4yr 5.34 mil deal with Cleveland.
He lost approximately 2 million of that through various suspensions.
Finally after 2018 he was off his rookie deal and signed a 2 million 1 yr with the Pats. I'm not sure how much of that he got to keep. I don't know how him being cut then picked up by Seattle affected that.

Either way, if he wasn't a knucklehead, he would have signed a mega deal about 3 years ago and would probably be on his way to another fat contract a year from now. Instead, he'll be worrying about if he has enough change for bottles of MD 20/20.

One thing that isn't getting talked about enough is that Gordon was suspended for PEDs.  He wasn't just smoking a little weed.  He was cheating.

That's also possibly why they wouldn't have him taking antabuse. I don't know how that interacts with steroids and other PEDs that players may be on.

The NFLPA is warning players not to sign with the Jaguars due to the number of grievances filed against them (apparently of a quarter of all grievances in the entire league are against Jacksonville).  What kind of shit show is Khan running there?

The Lions keeping Matt Patricia and Bob Quinn (a.k.a. "Quinntricia") around for 2020 should only be a surprise to people who aren't familiar with that organization.
