Happy Holidays The Real TSM! Here's an early Merry Christmas/Happy Hanukkah/Ballin' Kwanza/Solemn Ramidan present from me, Mattdotcom. It's this thread. December looks to be a make it or break it month for a few WWE Superstars, as we can expect big pushes for Sheamus, Drew McIntyre, Kofi Kingston, and who knows who. We also have the Slammys to look forward to, which is always fun. They'll be hosted by Dennis Miller, who used to be funny.

December is probably the last month that TNA will focus a little bit more on wrestling and produce a decent show and even a great PPV because Hulkamania is forecasting.

I still think that CHL was robbed for best impression.
Of course cage matches work.  If they didn't work, everybody would still be in the cage.

What happened to incorporating all the PPV names into the title? It should read "TSM approaches its Final Resolution with a little TLC"

I like this one. It's retro.

With that said, I was trying to come up with one myself, like "TSM sets the Table (next to a Ladder) and places the Chairs to make their Final Resolution", but that's just a bit too wordy.

Pulling this one from the November thread:

Speaking of the ECW...

WWE wants to scrap the ECW brand, and is in talks with SyFy to replace the ECW time slot with a WWE Superstars format type program.

Is this good news? Bad news? Do we care?

As someone who never watches the show, I'm very pro "get all of those guys into the Raw/SD brands" even though I know this means they'll never be used / become jobbers. But you know, I've never even SEEN Tyler Reks.

If they introduced a show and came out and said "Okay, on this show, we put up brand new talent and they wrestle and try and gain themselves a Raw or Smackdown contract" I would watch that show.

Now that Maryse is back on RAW does anybody but me remember that Miz and Maryse kinda had a thing going, and it was based on Miz doing impressive things, which he now has. I hope they touch on that.

I believe before she left with injury, Miz told Maryse to hit the bricks for being too stuck up.

Is it Jillian "Beyor" or "Boyer", because I've now seen both names used in the press release (Boyer here, which makes my alleged joke sort of work, and Beyor in the other General thread, making it a fail).

It's 1st of December, 5pm, right now. I would have put up this thread, keeping in line with me doing it often, but I have exams and shit on, and when I came back today this was already up. I like the title though. If we were going to go new PPV style I would have probably used TSM approaches a Final Resolution with Tables, Ladders and Chairs. Doesn't really matter, Mattdotcom is a far better poster and more deserving of threadstarter honour than me.

So would they just merge the ECW Title with one of the others? Would the new show have its own champion? If it is like Superstars, I would guess not.

I remember Kelly mentioned she dropped out of college and moved down there, no questions asked, as soon as she was offered a spot. I wonder wonder why a lot of these girls (Kelly, Alicia, this new girl) jump at the chance to work in WWE.  The money isn't great (and if you're a woman who hardly wrestles, you barely make anything), not to mention the busy road schedule and the physical demands of wrestling. And there's also the fact that certain guys in power (i.e Batista) seem to treat most of the women as their personal playthings.

I have to think they offered this Jillian woman more money than your average WWE developmental wrestler. Otherwise, I'm not sure why else she would give up a moderately successful modelling career, to earn peanuts in a business she probably doesn't know anything about.

The fact that you get constant exposure on a highly rated television programs means something too. You can't deny that if Kelly Kelly quit tomorrow, she'd make more money as a model than if she had never gone to WWE in the first place.

She probably wasn't, then. I have a theory that girls always add 2 years to their age at college parties. This was proven when a girl whom told me she was 19, turned out to be 17.

But i digress....I'd fuck Kelly Kelly, twice. Once for each Kelly.

General Rasslin' Talk - Dec: The Real TSM Predicts Armageddon at Starrcade
« Reply #45 on: December 01, 2009, 05:35:47 AM »
I made some Slammy predictions.

Superstar of the Year-Randy Orton, whose victory is ruined by Kofi Kingston out of nowhere
Match of the Year-The Undertaker vs Shawn Michaels
DivaMother of the Year-Either Mickie or Michelle depending on what kind of angle they want to book for the speech
"O M G!" Moment of the Year-CM Punk Cashes In on Jeff Hardy
Tag Team of the Year- Jeri-Show; Jericho gains an extra prop
Finishing Maneuver of the Year-Starship Pain
Extreme Moment of the Year-Jeff Hardy's SummerSlam Swanton
Breakout Star of the Year-Sheamus

Superstar - Cena, whose victory is ruined by another Sheamus kick to the head
Match - Michaels vs. Taker
Diva - Melina, because Bret Hart says so!
OMG - Ricky Steamboat vs. Jericho at Backlash, seems like YEARS ago already eh?
Tag - Jeri-Show, Jericho leaves with the Tag Titles, Bragging Rights Cup and A Slammy
Finisher - GTS
Extreme - Hardy/Summerslam
Breakout - The Miz or Morrison

What is the definition of breakout? As in breakout RIGHT NOW or breakout throughout the year?

It's 1st of December, 5pm, right now. I would have put up this thread, keeping in line with me doing it often, but I have exams and shit on, and when I came back today this was already up.

Breakout - The Miz or Morrison

I'd love to see this be a tie and have Miz and Morrison forced to share/alternate the Slammy for the next few months.

The Miz is clearly the face of the new generation.
